In the commentaries Mark and Steven talk about that issue, too.

"Also, we never actually say how he got that gun; it’s just there. It’s one of those marvellous things you can do in television: you say, ‘He’s got a gun,’ and it doesn’t seem incredible that a military man would have one. Maybe not supposed to have it but he’s got it."

Hard to decide, but I think my favourite is still...

Sherlock: Get off my sheet!
Mycroft: Or what?
Sherlock: Or I'll walk away.

Oh yes, series 15 would be wonderful.
How wonderful would that be...
They should continue Sherlock until we see 90 year-old Benedict sitting on a Veranda, reading "Practical Handbook of Bee Culture, with some Observations upon the Segregation of the Queen" :D

I've got The Mentalist on DVD and I sometimes watch House when it's on TV. The problem is, since I've discovered Sherlock, I don't like The Mentalist as much as before.

I've watched it yesterday on German TV and it's really an amazing movie.
My dad was just switching channels and suddenly there was BC's face on screen ^^
But his german voice was HORRIBLE in this movie, and there I was complaining about his Sherlock voice.
I think I'll buy the DVD soon, then I can enjoy this wonderful, moving movie from the beginning and of cours in English.

Oh I didn't know that you pronounce bow as in violin bow differently. Seems I've missed that correction bit from the interview.
Good to know

Hm of course they could just take elements from His Last Bow for the episode, without it being the end of Sherlock. I remember that
Moffat once promised that series 3 would end in another cliff-hanger, after all

I agree the first episode was really good. (Unfortunately, I missed some 10 minutes, stupid live stream.) Now I definitely have to read the book!
The documentary afterwords was interesting as well.
Yes, so looking forward to next friday! :D

16:19And here's what we've been waiting for - the three words that describe the episodes of Sherlock series three - Rat, Wedding, Bow. That's RAT. WEDDING. BOW. What does it mean?! Get Googling!

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s129/sherlock/news/a401513/sherlock-edinburgh-tv-festival-masterclass-live-blog.html

So "pipe, slippers, bed" was just a joke after all it seems :D

Well "Rat" seems to work with The Adventure of the Empty House.
The "Wedding" could be that of John Watson & Mary Morstan, or not. There are quite a lot of marriages in the stories.
But "Bow"? I mean it's just too early for His Last Bow, right?

Well I'd really like to watch Frankenstein and I think that I'm free to go on September 4th. So this sounds wonderful!

Do you plan to make a reservation for the theatre tickets?
