HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN - Dull but has some funny violence and splatter and some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard in a movie.
TRANCERS - An 80s scifi flick that tries to be everything from BLADE RUNNER to classic film noir. Really bad acting and script but funny in it's badness here and there.
ROBOCOP (2014) - Some interesting ideas and looks pretty nice. If you're a fan of the original I recommend to watch this on the big screen. All the satire and graphical violence are gone from the original that is one of my favorite films from the 80s.

STANLEY KUBRICK - A BIOGRAPHY by John Baxter. Fascinating stuff. Love Kubrick's films and it's nice to learn new things that explains why his movies were so near perfection and how he was a perfectionist himself.

DramaGod, that sounds just great! Exercise is fantastic for combating depression plus a date (wooooooo!) for Valentine's Day!

Yeah it was great. She cancelled. Then I got another date with another girl in another town and she got the flu couple days earlier and cancelled. So like every single Valentine's in the past thousand years, I spent the "special day" home alone watching the telly by myself. Hope you guys had more romance in the air than I did
Meet The Members » POLL: What's your religious denomination? » February 7, 2014 9:50 pm |
Was born evangelic-lutherian but resigned from the church a couple years back and haven't cared about church and religion stuff half my life. I just have no use for it. So I ticked the box at the bottom saying agnostic/atheist. In my opinion the best thing about the church is its acoustics.

I started on Monday at this local amateur theater and it lasts for 4 months. We've been playing group games, done push-ups and ran every day for 3-4 hours and even though I've never liked excercising I'm loving it. There's 20 young people in the group and they're all pretty cool and a few of them sing and play an instrument like myself. Today I was sitting on the ground with this girl and we sang and played duets of songs from Jamiroquai, Nick Drake and The Beatles. I trying to get rid of my depression and blocks with this theater thing and after just a week it seems like this place is working.
Also, for the first time in like 10 years, I have a date for Valentines. I wonder if things are finally turning to the better in my life.
Rant over.

Tobolowsky's funniest role as Ned! Ryerson! "Don't tell me you don't remember me cause I sure as heckfire remember you". I learned so many things from this film. One being that the first step is a doozy.

Since it's February 2nd today, once again I decided to watch one of my favorite comedies of all time, GROUNDHOG DAY starring the great Bill Murray and the cuteness herself, Andie MacDowell. If there's anyone here who's yet to see that film, I highly recommend watching it. It's pure excellence from start to finish.
It's annoying though that every damn year that big rat sees it's shadow. I'm glad Phil tries to take action into his own hands.

After waiting for 17 years, this July I am finally going to get to see my all time favorite band play live and get to meet the members of the band. London, baby!

John and Sherlock getting drunk in season 3 made me chuckle. Also Sherlock "camouflaging" himself moments before revealing his existence to John at the restaurant.

I'm midway through season 6 myself. I'm really liking it. Watched an episode or two when it first started but started really going through the show a few years ago. I think the guys have a great chemistry together and Dean is a real funny bugger.
