I think along with Tolkien-fans, Sherlockians have to be the most dedicated.
General Sherlock Discussion » A question to pose to Sherlock after his resurrection » September 2, 2012 5:13 pm |
He would have been better donating it for 'Plastination' by Guther Von Hagens, I think he would like that.
Plus being a drug user and a smoker his lungs and veins would be knackered

Reichenbach Theories » I favour the simple solution » July 16, 2012 10:12 pm |
Ahh but they fracture soooo easily. What with Sherlocks weight despite not eating very often, combined with the trajectory and speed, I am afraid they would be more crumbs than crisp

Wicked, seriously did I just say wicked? Yes, anyway, thanks for the lovely welcomes.
Nice to know I'm not the only one. I get funny looks when I bang on about it. x

Reichenbach Theories » I favour the simple solution » July 16, 2012 12:20 pm |
Ha ha ha, I read this and hurt myself laughing.
I am sticking with the perspective magic trick. Sherlock jumps, they roll him onto the pavement, Molly rushes out and slaps bits of brain and blood on him. The ball might have been a red herring, but all the people there were definitely Mycrofts and the H.N, Lestrade may have been in on it too. Either way poor John Can't wait to see his reaction when he see's Sherlock he is so gonna break his nose.

Well, somebody on youtube says it's got to be the crisps in Sherlock's pockets. (Is it cheating to go off-forum?) Then some others I found while googling that idea claim that Sherlock is fond of "Quavers"...a kind of puffed up curious snack that looks a bit springy...like a fake pork rind. The British here could of course fill me in...would they serve as say, a good packing material?
Could those have been the tiny puffy pillows that meant life over death? That and some careful landing on non vital organs? Molly did say at one point she was going off for more, though she doesn't suspect they could be useful for anything other than lunch. They'd have to be all over him, though, for it to work...
I think the blood is real. A cut on the scalp can bleed pretty alarmingly, and it was raining so the watery pavement would enhance that.
Aarg...I need to do something else for a few days...really fun, though.

Meet The Members » What do you do when you're not doing Sherlock? » July 16, 2012 12:02 pm |
I work for Mycroft No seriously I do secret stuff. When I am not being secretive I paint, crochet, act like a child, watch too much TV and films (actually scrap that, you can't watch too many films). I hang out on Sherlock boards? I frequent Twitter and play Binweevils with my mini me daughter.
It's Canon » Sebastian Moran? » July 16, 2012 11:57 am |
Sebastian has definitely got to be in The Empty House, it will be exciting to see who will be playing him. I am guessing it might not be the sniper used in Reichenbach???
General Sherlock Discussion » My today's tiny contribution to the Sherlock fandom... » July 16, 2012 11:52 am |
I'm off to Waterstones next week, I might secrete some inside the Conan Doyle books. My daughter will gladly be an accomplice.

General Sherlock Discussion » How long have you been a fan? » July 16, 2012 11:29 am |
I have been a fan for about 30 years. I used to watch alot of old films with my Mum and Grandad and read the Ladybird version of Hound of the Baskervilles. I was hooked. My daughter is 6 and has watched all the new ones over and over, it used to be Harry Potter and LOTR but she is hooked on Sherlock too now. I expect a few of you have seen her on Youtube? She is Lyra the Cumberbatch fan
