Have never recced before but this made me laugh.
"What Would Sherlock Do?"
Probably not for you if you are looking for *hot*. A series of 3 non-explicit stories. For me the 1st was the best although I enjoyed them all. The 3rd proved to be worth sticking with.
John Watson comes to the conclusion that Sherlock Holmes should be his lover. But how does a (mostly) straight man seduce a (possibly) asexual genius who can spot any maneuvering a mile away? Well, John asks himself, what would Sherlock do?

Hello and a warm Wirral welcome. I'm not in here very often but wanted to welcome a (relatively) near neighbour.

There is a series of Sherlock Holmes stories being broadcast on Radio 4 Extra. The last one went out on Friday. You should be able to catch most of these on iplayer. I particularly enjoyed hearing the late Michael Williams who was Dame Judy Dench's husband, as John Watson. Of interest also may be 'The Noble Bachelor' in which (spoilers ahead ; ) ) the womanising, gambling altogether nasty piece of work is played by one Timothy Carlton.

Yes, I follow you on twitter and remember it happening. But as you don't follow me you (hopefully) won't be affected. I haven;t opened any emails or looked on twitter until a short time ago and (being a relative newbie on twitter) it gradually dawned on me what had happened.
Thanks for letting me know you're OK though, just seen your tweet

Will do, but the names that came up were all members of this forum so I came here first. I have now changed my password as suggested on the site.

Hi, I thought I'd better post an apology to anyone who has received a message, linking to a video, apparently from me. I logged on to my email tonight to discover messages from several of you. I only opened one, but I suspect the contents of the others will be the same. I haven't sent out any links. Please don't open anything that fits this description.
In the meantime, if anyone can advise me as to what I can do to stop it happening I'd be eternally grateful

I've loved every episode so far. Other than Sherlock, I can't think of anything I have enjoyed more in recent years. All 3 main characters are superbly written and played. I have a 4 book queue at the moment, so I knew I wouldn't have time to read the books before the series aired so I decided to leave them completely for the moment and watch from a POV of complete ignorance. I have also watched the first 2 episodes on iplayer to catch anything I may have missed on first viewing.
Perhaps I have understood this incorrectly, but I had the impression that Christopher's father had died accidentally as a result of the firearm going off when he crawled under a bush to retrieve a rabbit leaving the safety catch thingy off. In fact (this is something I want to look for when I watch it again) didn't one of the characters refer to this in the following conversation. Yet, in the reviews I have read it is referred to as his father's suicide. One reviewer seems to have read the bboks* so I can only assume that it is me that is wrong.

Sorry everyone . Thought I had posted correctly and then had to dash off to deliver daughter somewhere for 12.00 *rolls eyes* so I've only just discovered the error. Thanks to Kazza for knowing what to do in an emergency.

Thanks for posting this Hepz, I must admit that the original article appeared to contradict what he said at the PBS question and answer session, so didn't quite ring true to me. Delighted to see this statement published.
