Silent Jealousy...in Sherlock's pants

Character Analysis » Poor Janine » January 7, 2015 11:08 pm

I hope we see her return. I don't think Janine and Sherlock are finished playing.

Sherlock: John! What has happened to your ears? They have grown much larger and are pointy!
John: I had a dream that I was a Hobbit. When I awoke my ears had grown. Now will you please stop grabbing them!

Lestrade: Who placed a wheel clamp on MY car?
Donovan: Sir, the note only said, "Did you miss me?'

Another incredible season ending. No throne is safe!

Moftiss » Mark Gatiss confirmed for 4th series of Game of Thrones!!! » June 18, 2014 1:21 am

Pity he only appeared in one episode this season. I hope he will back next season in a more extended role.

Benedict's Non-Sherlock Work » Stuart - A Life Backwards » June 18, 2014 1:11 am

This was a powerful movie about a friendship between two very different people. Both actors were very well cast and gave excellently crafted performances. Tom Hardy's was Oscar worthy. I am looking forward to seeing Hardy in Locke.

Just started on The Yard by Alex Grecian. It takes place after the Ripper murders as Scotland Yard's new Murder Squad is put to the test after a body is discovered brutally murdered and stuffed in a trunk left at a train station..

Character Analysis » Who on Sherlock would you do? » May 11, 2014 3:36 pm

Lestrade because not only is he handsome, sexy, and smart but most of all he is kind and thoughtful. A good man.

Character Analysis » If Mycroft is smarter than Sherlock why does he rely on him? » March 11, 2014 10:56 pm

Mmmmm, he doesn't want to crease his bespoke suit?
I think Mycroft tries to make sure that Sherlock isn't bored because when Sherlock is bored the chances are he will turn to a '7% solution' to ease the boredom.

His Last Vow » I don't think Moriarty is alive » March 11, 2014 10:40 pm

Didn't Sherlock tell Mycroft that Moriarity blew his brains out on the roof? Wouldn't Mycroft have sent a "clean up crew" to investigate? More and more mysteries abound.

Character Analysis » The humanisation of Mycroft Holmes - series 3 » March 3, 2014 11:10 pm

i adore Mycroft, his wit, his quick mind, the way he turns his head then arches his eyebrow. and his suits! I was so happy his role was expanded for this series. I hope we will see even more of him in the future. Long live the Ice Man!

His Last Vow » How did Mary get into Magnussen's office? » March 2, 2014 6:17 pm

Fire safety regulations generally do not allow doors to be locked from the inside even during a security alert, The horrific fire at the triangle shirtwaist factory in New York City in 1911 made it illegal to lock doors from the inside.

His Last Vow » How did Mary get into Magnussen's office? » March 2, 2014 6:01 pm

i think the writers and producers wanted to spare the time and expense of filming a "Mission Impossible" type of scene where Mary is shown scaling the building and cutting the glass to gain entry or leave. Therefore they left it up to our imaginations. Dressed as she was it was not an outfit to be used to gain entrance unnoticed via the lobby or elevator. It was CAM's building so he could have easily ordered the missing or broken glass replaced without too many questions asked by his staff if he wanted to keep the events which transpired in his office to be kept quiet..
I am more interested in Mycroft's or Lestrade's reactions to Sherlock being shot. Who informed them? And when? Surely neither would have just let it be without some sort of investigation or basic questions being answered.

Books » What are you reading at the moment? » March 2, 2014 2:07 pm

I am reading The Secret Lives of Code Breakers: The Men and Women who cracked the Enigma Code at Benchley Park by Sinclair McKay. A fascinating look at the daily lives of people both ordinary and extraordinary people who broke the code and saved many lives.

Latest News » Sherlock could be back in time for Christmas » March 2, 2014 1:39 pm

I would be very happy to hear that series 4 is in production, but I am prepared for a long wait. I am hopeful that if we are very lucky we might get another mini episode on Christmas day this year. I would love an exchange between Lestrade and Mycroft about Moriaty's reappearance. Actually I will settle for anything.

His Last Vow » CAM: Is he actually alive and in cahoots with Sherlock? » March 2, 2014 1:29 pm

I can't accept that Sherlock could ever be in cahoots with someone he found so vile. I think CAM is dead. Surely someone has to die and stay dead on this show.
