And if that means Benedict has less madness in his life now, well, good for him!

Definitely.

Let's hope the best for him (and Sophie).

And I'm glad about that. I saw some comments where people said they were stopping being a fan now. It did remind me of Take That breaking up- the drama!

Was onty to be expected. Unfortunately.

But yes, people in this forum are lovely and reasonable.

I confess I bought mine a couple of days ago and haven't even looked at it yet!

Well, no real need to when you can already see all the photos and read the interview online, right?

For the first time in my life I will buy the  ELLE. I'm looking so forward to the 12th of November. That's the day you can get the magazine here in Germany. So wonderful pictures....

I preordered it online. It felt a bit too risky to rely simply on kiosks to sell it.

@Solar: What a way to start the day - thanks a lot.

@besleybean and Phantom: I love those glasses too. They suit Ben so incredibly well.

Definitely. I've seen a lot of people try and most of them failed. More or less. I just hope that once the whole hype is over (needs to happen eventually), he will be able to welcome with his newly found privacy back with open arms.

He is so lovely when you can see and hear him.   I bet if the "Out" interview had been televised there wouldn't have been a fuss. He always seems to have nice things to say about other guests too.

I guess so too. He does not strike me as a vicious person at all. But he is, as we all are, human. And all human beings have flaws and are allowed to have them. The problem with Benedict is that he is in the limelight almost constantly and everything, EVERYTHING he says and does is taped and filmed and analysed to the smallest detail and discussed through and through. And he still seems to be adjusting to this special position he fills and still isn't quite sure what to think of all the love and admiration he gets from so many people and places. Must be quite overwhelming at times.

Okay. Benedict officially made my day - or at least the last seven minutes. He is adorable, yes, he is. And he sure would be my choice of man to spend a day filled with laughter, silly (and also intelligent and profound) talk, some booze, good food and maybe some cigarettes and cigars with.

I'm a firm believer of "what's meant to be is what's meant to be". Sure, our brain and the way we see and experience the world we live in makes us believe we actually do have a choice, but I think that every single choice we made and still make are meant to be. That sort of thing could also be called fate or destiny and some might say it's far too easy to just believe in that rather than try and make something happen. But then, the people who try to make a change in whatever are meant to do exactly that. right?
