Great other guests on that show when Ben is there. I love Miranda Hart (I have yet to watch "Call the midwife".) And Timothy Spall is good, too. Never saw him in a TV show.

So the show was recorded tonight and here is a first pic - if you don't want to know anything about his appearance, don't click the link though!

So cute! Timothy Spall is right, he's an "absolute darling". He wasn't so nice to the ex-Harrow pupil, though! I bet those rumours were made up anyway!
I suppose it's true that somebody else should have picked up on the penguin mispronounciations. I like to think that everybody involved thought it was so adorable that they couldn't bear to tell him.
Loved the Smaug voice complete with body acting! "Arousing and terrifying"! A contrast with photobombing himself, and the Beyonce/John Cleese walk.
I'm really been looking forward to the Timothy Spall film too (I'm a long-time fan of Mike Leigh). Amazing that he spent 2 years learning to paint for it!

What a sweetie! Charmingly self-deprecating. I think/hope this will be on here tomorrow night on BBC America. Then in November, "Sherlock" on BBC America. I wish it was Series 4 that was coming on but I'll take what I can get - even with my DVDs sitting here beside me. I just like the thought of seeing the boys back on TV again.
