I went to Comicon a couple of weeks ago (first time). There weren't a lot of Sherlockians, but I saw one young teenager wearing a big coat and a death frisbee hat. He looked adorable and I gave him the thumbs up.

Oh, sorry. I forgot this clue: Smaug. Does that help?

At the movies the other night, I saw my first "I am Sherlocked" shirt that was on someone I didn't know. Told her I was, too, and I think she actually jumped and clapped her hands. (Credit to my husband for spotting the shirt first.) It should be easier to spot each other now that the weather is warmer and we aren't under layers of fabric.

Did anyone get anywhere with this?

Wasn't sure where to put this:
On Ask Me Another (radio quiz show), the contestants had to guess a celebrity name by the Google search terms to find hin/her. For example, "jumps on Oprah's couch" was one of the clues for Tom Cruise. Can you name this one? Funny name. Khan. Looks like an otter.

I'm originally from Michigan (Kalamazoo) and go to visit my parents near Grand Rapids a few times a year.  Wolverine? Well I'm living in Southwest Ohio right now and I'll just say that football season isn't safe for me, lol.  Last summer while visiting Michigan, I wore my "I Am SHERlocked" tee and it outed quite a few fans in Battlecreek.

It must be hard living among the Buckeyes.
I think it's easier to find each other (Sherlockians) in the summer. Who can see your t-shirt under all the layers we have had to wear this winter?

I think there was at least one other, but it could have been quite a while ago.

I'm not sure this is the right section for this post. Feel free to move it.

Since I returned to the forum after Season 3 aired here in the States, I am overwhelmed. I have lots of questions and comments, but there are already so many posts that I don't know where to start. Anything I post may have already been asked or stated, but even with the very fine organization of the index, I can't possibly look through everything. And it just keeps growing. I sign on once or twice a day and find 30 or more pages of new posts.

I'm glad the forum is so popular and successful, but I really could use some help navigating. If anyone has any suggestions, I wouild greatly appreciate them.

Thanks!

Ha, ha. One time my husband came home and tossed chocolates (Lindor balls) throught the door and asked if it was safe to come in. Fortunately for him, I found it funny!

Saw it this evening. Interesting, if a bit confusing. For a movie called Sunshine, it certainly is dark.

Our wonderful Michigan Theater has a science in the movies series. After the film, they had an astronomer talk and answer questions.

Also got mine (UK version)  on Thursday the 30th.   Hooray!    Now no need to deal with
the U.S. Masterpiece Mystery series on PBS,  with its unnecessary cuts,
and the way it omits the Sherlock theme music on the opening/ending.    Love
the extras!

I thought someone said the PBS  versions weren't cut this season?

I've enjoyed the BBC Masterpiece Mysteries for years. This is  another one of their smart, well-written, well-acted, well-produced programs -- which happens to have a a super-charismatic lead.

Oh, yeah, the accents -- everything seems better with the accents, even when you can't understand them.

Ben's at Fashion Week? Tim Gunn and Benedict Cumberbatch in the same place at the same time? If only I had known!
