I also watch German films,  it helps me to understand and learn better this complex language. The first one I saw was "Kalt ist der Abendhauch, starring August Diehl. Do you know it? does it ring any bell to you? It's is a beautiful as well as a painful love story.

In my country, Spain, most of audiovisual materials are dubbed too. The first time I watched Sherlock was by  seeing an original version of the show but with English subtitles. To be honest, it find the show a bit difficult to understand without the help of subtitles and  specially when Benedicts makes his long speeches. Later, I watched the Spanish-dubbed and Catalan-dubbed version. To me, both are good, however, I prefer the Catalan version to the Spanish one because Sherlock's voice tone is more accurate here.
By the way, do you know this website? You can watch Sherlock and other tv series in its original language: http://ororo.tv/en

Thanks

Hey chill out it was a rather innocuous post. I hope he has found love cos I felt a bit sorry for him standing on the red carpet alone all the time surrounded by couples. And he did say this year he has some personal ambitions he wishes to achieve ie partner, babies? Of course I'll still be a massive fan of him♥

Don't feel sorry for him. That's the worst thing we can do. Everybody would love to attend the ceremony and see all the greatest film starts. Two of his films got Oscar nominations, he must have had a great night at the Oscars. Regarding the secret girlfriend, I also felt a bit sad and maybe disappointed. He's our Sherlock. But, it's his life, so it's up to him, it's none of our business. But, as a  massive fan of him and his projects, specially Sherlock, reading such "good" news isn't very pleasant  . Therefore, I really understand what you meant by opening this new threat.  Being a fan is sometimes difficult!!!!

General Benedict Appreciation » Is Benedict's hair naturally curly? » January 31, 2014 10:37 pm

I love his curly dark hair on Sherlock! I can't imagine him having ginger hair or similar.
I can't imagine either what  he would say/think if one days he reads our comments about his hair...

Supporting gay rights is usually associated with Centre and Left parties...tho it can be across the board.
I don't think Bendedict is a Tory...but I really don't know.

Ups, sorry. I meant to write "left".

I think that he must support LEFT wing political parties , despite having been educated in very formal traditional schools. I came out with this though since he attended a gay weeding last summer. What do you think about it???

Well actually when Sherlock wishes her to be happy in TEH I found he seemed to be a bit sad about her engagement?

I would appreciate it if they would become a couple :D.

yeahh ME TOO!!! I would be so happy!!! I can only see Sherlock with Molly, no other women deserves Sherlock!!! But  this will be difficult because Sherlock doesn't show any special interest in her, but he did in Irene Adler ...we will have to wait and see what happens in the next season..

Moftiss » [spoilers] Moffat says people who see plot holes are not clever enough » January 27, 2014 1:43 am

When you watch an episode of Sherlock, you must pay attention!!!! . In my case, I have to watch  the scenes when Sherlock speaks fast twice or even three times, because I am not able to get any line  and I dont' understand what is happing on the next scenes..
I also think that the writer could have used another word. FANS are clever,no doubt about it, but the plot is as well.

Music » My obssessive song(s) of the moment » January 27, 2014 1:19 am

Right now I'm obsessed with four songs:
WINGS by Birdy; SIRENS CALL by Cats on trees; UNCONDITIONALLY by Kate Perry and THE STORY OF MY LIFE by One direction (I'm not a fan of this boy band at all, but in my opinion, this song is quite good).

As the word itself indicates, this is just an obsession so, within next weeks my list will be completly different.

Series Three News » Series 3 DVD Extras » January 27, 2014 1:07 am

The extras is the most exciting part of all this. It's very exciting and weird,at the same time, to see the casting being themselves, since we are used to seing Sherlock, John, Mary and the others. This is something that has always caught my attention.
But on the other hand, when I see it, the surprises and exciting moments of the series vanishes because we get to know the "trick".
But anyway, thanks a lot for sharing the links!!!  Making a tv serie seems to be a very complex work, it's a great team work!!!

Current Affairs » Putin's anti-gay purge » January 27, 2014 12:55 am

We are in the 21st century and we are updated in terms of technology ( it provides companies with high amount of money), but regarding human minds, it seems that we are still living in the Medieval period!!! How long will we have to fight for human rights? This is something that should already be part of our society, we should already be putting it into practise...

The Empty Hearse » Sherlock and Molly in The Empty Hearse » January 25, 2014 2:45 am

4. More Mycroft/Sherlock scenarios, possibly where Mycroft gets into trouble and Sherlock has to save him somehow.

Yeah... a good point. Would be something new.

And to go on...

2. More focus on interestiing cases again
3. But no business as usual (like it was in S1 + 2) because too much happenend in S3 and it can't go on without a trace (concerning the relationship of Sherlock and John... which doesn't mean that I need hugs and emotional talks all the time )
4. And please... no return of Moriarty. He may rest in peace.

YEAH!!!  I agree 100% with you regarding your 2nd Idea! I want to see more interesting complex murder cases again!!!! This is something I really missed in the last season!!!!!  Sherlock and Watson are the best friends in the world, we have no doubt about it and it is enough!!!  I hope we will be able to see Sherlock dying to investigate good and complex cases!!!  As you said gently69, I also want Sherlock from S1 and S2 back to Baker Street and our TV screens very soon!!!!

Also,  I would like to see Sherlock treating women better, please!!  I'm very sorry for Molly and his fake girlfriend on season 3 (sorry I don't remember her name right now).
In order to solve this, I would like to see a new female character who was a lot like Sherlock and they could have many things in common and maybe he could start feeling something or be willing to have a good/special relationship with her.  They do not need to end up in a relationship, but Sherlock's view on women could problaby change a litlle bit. But That's just an idea!!!!

In conclusion, the best consulting detective in the world must be seen at his best state next season!!!!

General Sherlock Discussion » 4 Reasons Sherlock Should End With Season 4 » January 17, 2014 10:52 pm

This show can't end with Season 4. I am too much addicted to it and its characters. It's currently my favourite TV show. I need more Sherlock in my life right now, ;) , so the show must go on. Maybe this is not a good reason, but itI can't end. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote many stories, I'm sure they will know how to extend this amazing TV series.

His Last Vow » Why is Janine not dead? » January 15, 2014 5:04 pm

Hi,
Maybe this is not the correct section, but as  my comment is about Janine, I don't see necessary to open a new one to ask the following question:  Has any of you reacted the same way as John did when we saw Janine in Sherlock's flat?   I can't believe it, it am completely in shock!!! I love how John reacted, it was a very  quite fun moment. It's very strange to see Sherlock next to a woman, who is not Mrs Hudson.  I have only seen the first scenes of the episode and I needed to share my thoughts with all of you...  What did you feel when you saw Janine? Did you think that it was part of Sherlock's plan?
thanks,  now I will continue watching it...
