I've only just seen this now I'm so sorry! D: yes different admins kept rejecting it despite adhering to their exact header. But one would say don't include that and resubmit. Others said the opposite. It got so annoying I just figured they don't want this I'll put it elsewhere. And it was all hidden beneath a cut, a read more sort of thing. So you could click the link and either go to my LJ and read it there or the fanfiction site it was on.

I can't think of anywhere else to promote them. Right now though I need a beta.

I saw, Billie Piper and Benedict will be there. So upset, I don't live anywhere near there. D: I don't even live near Melbourne and they aren't coming there! If only this wasn't on when we had things.

Quick little mock up for the new VICLOCKCON name badges this yeah. May or may not use that image for the Sherlock one. Will probably do a couple, like a John, Lestrade, Moriarty, Mycroft. Would love to do some of the girls too but not sure if I can capture them just right. Finished product may still look different, have different words etc. But this is just the basic template.
-------------ID CHARACTER BADGES FOR VICLOCKCON 2014.Ideas:• Something similiar to the mock up one for Sherlock.• Blue for John.• Green for Mycroft.• Either dark blue or silvery grey for Lestrade.• Either black with a white speech bubble or white with a black speech bubble for Moriarty, with Moriarty upside down.• If I can do the girls then yellow for Molly, Sexy red for Irene, not sure for Mrs Hudson or Mary yet.ANDIf you are a staff member and want a one off design, say you are working in the kitchen and want a Hannibal Character Badge…I MIGHT be able to do you one, but you would have to contact me about it.

MORE UPDATES COMING SOON!

About 5 I reckon! Your imagination is strong! But I wouldn't say it was massively weird!!

LOL! Nah, I'm just an angst queen who's deeply wrapped up in her own head-canon. I've only cried twice while writing something, so this was a little bit special. I eventually wrote out the scene tonight, and while I didn't quite get teary, it still gutted me a little. SHERLOCKNEEDSAHUG!

I've only cried a few times while writing. Except now I can't go back and read my fics because I get very teary that I cant see the screen. Which is annoying because I have to go back and read to make sure I have no plot holes!

Now in it's third year!

Viclockcon is a fan run convention based in Melbourne. Tickets are available on the tumblr, will hopefully be available at Supernova in Melbourne this year (provided I get cracking on the design). Viclockon usually has competitions, events such as talks, trivia, games. We watch episodes, we cosplay, we have wonderful fan related food (and amazing Sherlock cakes!) and we even have stalls for you to buy, prizes for you to win and free activities such as fanart, fanfic reading and we have plenty in store for this year.

It's not starting yet until possibly June but we have an artbook planned, and well... we kinda need some art and we only have one week left! So if you're an aussie or want to submit some art let us know here! http://viclockcon.tumblr.com/

There will be more updates soon, once I have designed a few things....and I hope to see some of you there!

Well he's based off Charles Augustus Milverton. But very little is given about his private life, though in the books he is british. You could always mention..that brother of his... the one with a taste for...people.

There are also well-visited LiveJournal (and probably also Dreamwidth) communities dedicated to the show or to Sherlock fan fiction where you can post links to your stories.

I find it hard to use LJ because my fics are fairly long so I don't want to have to post with each chapter. I suppose I can alwys link back to AO3 or FF but whenever I've tried to put them on a LJ community its been rejected because I forgot something. Every single time. Despite not forgetting anything. (i checked!) so I just gave up because it was a different thing each time.

:/

I usually post my fics on tumblr, ff.net and ao3, idk of anywhere else to post them here, besides a link to it on this forum. I've made covers for all mine, which can help. I get my hits/replies/faves/kudos whatever on ff.net for some and ao3 for one of the fics. I think mine are more popular on ff.net though...idk why. AO3 confuses me somewhat!

So I finally have a Society6! Here are some of the Sherlock designs I've added so far. I hope to add more soon and they can all go on tshirts I just have to figure out how you do it on S6. I may also add some of these onto mugs.

Anyway, here's the page: http://society6.com/KitsuneDesigns theres a few others from other fandoms, I'm trying to find my Loki one, I need the poster version as it's the biggest, I can't find it! I'll add more cabin pressure, Sherlock, lotr and Merlin this week if I can. And any artwork that becomes half decent, will end up on here probably.

I know how you feel I badly need beta readers with my fics because I type too fast for one thing, and my eczema can also make typing difficult. I always check for typos and mistakes but it doesn't stop them finding their way into an uploaded chapter!

I had one for one fic but the site kept crashing so I could never replace the existing chapter. Doesn't do it now though.

Having a mind palace, to my understanding, is a method of loci. It's a place to store particular events, information etc, so that one can call on that information, remember it and then use it for whatever purpose. Usually one attaches the memory/information/thing to an object in the palace/house/corridor etc. Say you are trying to remember a map, you might attach the memory of the map as you see it in your head and file it away or stick it on a wall or put it in a room.

I never knew what I did was a method of loci until I met a sherlockian mentalist who wished me to promote his book and we got to talking about sherlock holmes and then it turned to mind palaces. It seemed I was subconciously remembering things by attaching them to an image/event/etc in order to remember them later. I can even remember doing this but not knowing that was a method of loci.

I can now recall maps of places if I venture into another room in my, well idk if it's a palace, and I can see the map in my head, particularly if theres an important landmark. I've always been able to remember trivia that way, numbers are the only thing I can't seem to attach something to, but I remember them anyway!

Idk, it's hrd to explain if you've never done it before. My memory is a bit photographic, short term memory is shite, hence the palace, but long term memory is ridiculous. My earliest memory is being two years old and I can tell you where i was standing, who with, what side of them, that i was holding their hand and what was going on in front of me.

(I have two others from that age but I have been told this is the earliest one)

Anyway... yeah.
