Other Cast & Production Team » Andrew Scott as Hamlet @Almeida Theatre in Spring 2017 » March 22, 2018 8:09 pm

Oh yes!
I'm sure I stopped breathing. Which happened again and again through the entire evening. Never seen anything remotely like it. This man re-defined theatre for me. Standing on that stage, speaking words from human being to human beings, from heart to heart, connecting us in this shared experience - never seen & felt anything like that. It was magic. Pure magic for me.
And although I know a TV broadcast won't come close to the power of a theatre experience, this one will be a special one.

As I missed it everyday since I've seen it on stage, I'm beyond happy about this!!!

General Sherlock Discussion » You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when... » August 9, 2017 1:53 pm

... you finally go watching 'This Beautiful Fantastic' and stay entirely in the film, except for one point in the story when a girl behind you in cinema wispers to her colleague: 'I'm sure it wasn't him but his twin brother' and the only thought popping up your mind is: "It's never twins!"

The Final Problem » Are you satisfied with TFP as an ending for the series? » March 26, 2017 2:50 pm

I'm not satisfied TFP to being anything, it's still unbearable for me, but I'd say better end the show now before they make it even worse. That's just my opinion, not a popular one I know but I really love the first two series to bits and will go on to do so.

Carefully asking... is there anyone like me who didn't like it much? Because... I didn't.

Same here. It just didn't feel right at all and I'm very disappointed about many things. I just don't want to be this sister they suddenly brought up to be behind it all because it makes everything that happened in the genius first two seasons pointless for me and I hate that. It's a bit like in 'Spectre', where someone suddenly popped up to say: 'Hey, know what, all that happened to you recently: It was all me' without any sign that it might be so.
It all seemed very forced and very non-sherlock, I may have to watch it all again, but my first feelings after it ended are anger and disappointment.

Ha... aww! You could always just get one of those wi-fi extender boxes!

Yes, I really need one. Thing is I only learned about that about three days ago and it was too late by then to order one which would arrive on time. So corridor it is. With my entire PC, screen, mouse, keyboard etc. :D

The Six Thatchers » Mary's death and final message » January 2, 2017 11:16 am

Just a short question: Isn't the threadtitel too spoilerish for to be seen by the entire board?
It's not a problem for me but maybe for people who haven't seen it yet it's quite too much of a giveaway?

When the video was played, I was afraid the entire time that she would admit that she was behind all the Moriarty-stuff, in fact, I was afraid her saying: 'And Sherlock: I was Moriarty', or something like that, and I don't want this to be. Actually, I don't want her to have any connection with him, if possible, but you're right, the entire thing seems rather sinister. And when they were following the dog to that slaughterhouse, Sherlock said something as in: 'it must be Moriarty' and it turned out that it was in fact about Mary instead, so... I really, really hope that it doesn't turn out the way I fear.

Thank you! <3 Only you were more in control of yourself, I'm proud of you!

General Sherlock Discussion » You know you're obsessed with Sherlock when... » January 1, 2017 10:48 pm

... you are now having trouble with both of your flatmates because one of them was watching the new episode with you and wanted to invite the other one (who's a really loud guy, chatting all the time and has never watched a single episode of Sherlock) to watch it with you and you almost screamed at both of them because you really didn't want him to be there and spoil it for you - and now they think I'm selfish, over-reacting and some sort of an asshole.

The Six Thatchers » First impressons and discussions » January 1, 2017 10:43 pm

There were sometimes little things happening where I started to fear that it was Mind Palace all over, but I cannot remember what it was.
Anyway, I still cannot say I'm that sad about Mary's death because I just didn't like her that much, altough she was a very interesting character. But John mourning really gave me shivers.

The Six Thatchers » First impressons and discussions » January 1, 2017 10:29 pm

Oh, I'm still shaking. I must admit, I wasn't taken by Marys death so much because I thought it would happen in this series, but then again, I was shocked in the way it happened. For a while, I thought maybe she wouldn't die after all but John and her would be simply breaking up, but that was the moment I happened to forget the show's made by evil geniuses Moffat and Gatiss (silly me!).

What I loved was that there were actual clients coming to Baker street again and there was some sort of a case that wasn't personal, which I'm all happy about because otherwise I happen to forget sometimes that it's actually about a consulting detective. Sometimes one happens to see a man who's very smart but has some really troubled friends.
Mrs. Hudson was ever-so-lovely, I was happy to see Molly again and Lestrade (oh, why did Sherlock have to spoil it?! I want Greg - or whatever he's called - to be happy). But Mycroft - I really want to know what's going on there. Sherrinford?!!!

What I loved too was that when the pearl was mentioned I thought - ha, as having read that story, I perfectly well know where it is - but I really shouldn't try to be clever but just watch the show. ;)

Series Four News » Official BBC releases - Series 4 - The Game is On! » December 11, 2016 3:45 pm

That latest trailer really gave me the chills and made it impossible for me to breath or think normally for quite a while, after that I run around the house without any reason - my usual behaviour about brilliant but disturbing things and quite often to be witnessed when something about Sherlock came out. :D

But what one can say: They already told us that it was going to be dark, but boy, it really looks like it will!

Series Four News » Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers) » August 26, 2016 7:58 pm

I'm just imagininig somebody standing on a chair while Sherlock shoots at him / her - that scene I'd love to see, especially what lead up to it. :D But then again, I want to see the scene anyway!

Series Four News » Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers) » August 11, 2016 1:15 pm

Haha, exactly what I thought first. Martin's looking all concentrated, so I thought he's been judging his own work, but no, no, they're all watching football together, how lovely. And what a cosy spot they've chosen for it. :D

Meet The Members » Post Your Absence » July 14, 2016 11:15 am

Well, although I don't write that much in here to think I'll be missed, but as I'm here a couple years now and I'm reading stuff daily in here I just wanted to say that I'm leaving for Italy until July, 27 and that I will miss the board. Have a great time everybody, go on being that crazy and everything, but please make sure the board still exists when I'm back, yes? Do it for me... pleeeeeeaaase? :D

Series Four News » Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers) » July 14, 2016 7:29 am

Now we have to presume that either Sherlock learned to fly before TRF and now does it over and over again because he can use it in dangerous situations or our dear Sherlock might be magic. ;)

I think also that he's just jumping from an upper deck to a lower one but maybe they made it to look more impressive for us to worry about it.
