Ok, the baby carrier makes more sense.
I too hope the are not serious. Do we know whether this is now "normal" Mary's and John's hair? Because if it's not, then the whole set-up might have been an alternative universe of sorts... like the theories after TRF.

Looks more like a pet to me and not a tracking dog.
And John holds the baby in a really uncomfortable way, I mean, he can't go on like this for long. Combined with the new hair-do's that seems to indicate something (hopefully) not real.

Has anybody seen this picture?
A friend sent it to me but I don't know yet where she'd got it from O.o
She says the speculation is that it's the third brother, but the do looks totally female to me.

Maybe Redbeard tried to protect Sherlock from somebody really bad (the source of the deeper trauma?), was injured in the process and had to be put down because of that? Like Sherlock got shot trying to protect John's happiness.

I've just watched the Special with my hubby (who was totally lost 10 minutes in).
I too think that the dubbing was great! The juicy translation of *impulses* totally made my day.
