Benedict's Non-Sherlock Work » Star Trek (spoilers - for those who've seen it already) » May 29, 2013 12:28 am

I just came back from seeing Star Trek Into Darkness for the first time...WOW! I loved it , Benedict was...was...I don't think I've ever loved a villain this much , though I may be a bit biased , even if I weren't I highly doubt I would've loved his performance any less. He was an incredible Khan, more sympathetic than the original I think. When he appeared on screen for the first time and I heard his voice...I shivered and just about melted into the seat!...scratch that, I did a squeal, said right aloud "Sherlock!" and then I melted into the seat  ...God, I can't believe how much I love his voice! In ALL the scenes with him I had to control myself from "squeeing" too much...it was very distracting, I know he was supposed to be the villain (and quite frankly I think the head Starfleet guy was worse, I would get into why I think that but this post is dedicated to...well, you know who ) but I found it very hard to dislike him (so damn gorgeous), especially when he was talking, so...mesmerizing , as others have said. All in all, great acting job on his part, and all the others as well, I cried in multiple places throughout the movie.

Indeed! There is something extremely...magical, otherworldly and too damn wonderful about his voice

Others of us jus have to keep our mouths shut, cos we know.
Well I say 'know'
Obviously I've seen and heard. So I've put 1+1 together...
There is always the possibility I've made '3'!

Ooooh...what do you know?  Or rather, whats the 1 + 1 you've put together? PM me , I have a really crappy internet connection and very often all those spoiler pages and such (especially tumblr and twitter) won't load properly ...and I'm not opposed to some spoilers

Yes, I saw it yesterday and posted the link in the news section.
As you said - quite interesting (with a slight touch of what we'd expect to read in certain fanfictions, right?).

Ah, ok

And yeah, I saw that...damn I wish I knew exactly whom she was refering to! I mean, it does seem kinda obvious but there is just enough ambiguity for there to be doubt...I don't know, I guess we won't really find out until it comes out...I hate waiting

Well, my brother and I watched all three episodes of season 1 of Sherlock in a row...muahahaha! I got him so darn hooked!  Though I do believe he gave me a few raised skeptical eyebrows whenever I would squee and do a little clap whenever I saw Sherlock wearing that sexy purple shirt....
Anyway, have some Benedict/Sherlock.....

'Tis gonna be a night of Sherlock marathon awesomeness...now, I'm off to continue my reading of the third novel length Johnlock fanfiction I've read within the last 3 days

Read Quiet Man, it will knock your socks off. I had to read it twice!

I will soon!  I just finished reading "The Heart In The Whole" ...it was awesome , I was going to read "The Quiet Man" (I now notice I mispelled that earlier, stupid typo >.<), but now I see another Johnlock fanfic written by the same person who wrote "The Heart In The Whole" and "The Road Less Travelled"...gah! Same dillemma again!  Still...I am blazing through this fics really fast, so I will get them ALL eventually ...Sherlock fans really are an awesome fandom, one I am proud to be a part of!

Is the problem stupid floor or stupid gravity? Perhaps we should just go into the future, nab some anti-grav machines like the ones they showed being used in STID in those hospital scenes, and teleport them back to the places where we sit and look at this thread. ???  I dunno. For now, bruises and broken bits seem to be what we're stuck with. Totally worth it, to feast our eyes on His Fineness.

Indeed! Totally, and utterly, worth it!

@MysteriaSleuthbedder. I LOVE THAT!  Maybe that's kinda redundant of me to say...since that's pretty much what I say to every Benedict Cumberbatch/Sherlock picture I see

THUD! *misses the mattress entirely*

You have to angle your mattress just right and be prepared for thudding at all times when this thread is open, so you won't be caught unawares. Don't worry. With experience, you'll get good at it. Or you might just decide to stay down there to begin with, which I have found is easier. *pats cat, eats snacks*

Ah, I knew there had to be a sound method with which to approach 'The Thud'. I'll try again:

Series Three Suggestions & Ideas » Crying, will series 3 be the finale? » May 26, 2013 2:17 pm

Oh I hope they don't end it..., if they did though, I could live with it...I'd just be depressed for a little while  . It's a great show, everyone involved has done (and from what I've seen so far) is doing a fantastic job! I am so grateful for the seasons we have now, and seeing Sherlock return in series 3 will be awesome!  They do have a lot of material to keep going for a long time...I hope they do
