I think your dog won’t mind the color and you can’t lose him if  he escapes in the crowd.
I like this color,  it gives healthy look.
But you’re right,  the color you receive is not often the one you ordered.

I know that animals are used for research but the way he put him in his mother's arms and cuddled him and then dissect him, it was at least surprising.
And for his mother, of course he wants her to be safe and happy but may be other ways were possible. Even if George is part of the ranch, he could live in his own house, away from Phil.
Frankly, I found the boy cold and ruthless.
But everyone is happy in the end so...😐

Perhaps it’s why my friends say I live in Candy Land ( le pays des Bisounours in french) but I think kindness  ( in french we say " bienveillance") is hightly recommanded for a doctor.  I was a nurse and worked with different ones and I can say that kindness can go with efficience and ability.  And it’s clearly a plus for patients’s recovery.
We clearly are off topic there so I stop here.
Take care of yourselves.

I try to be all encompassing and generous in my judgement of these characters:
dysfunctional families and damaged people, plus so much mourning of lost loves...
I also don't want to go down the 'mental health psycho' route...
but shall we at least agree that Peter was on The Spectrum?
( I am deliberately trying to write as little spoilery as possible!)
To be honest: Peter quickly saw there was one obstacle to everybody else's happiness and he simply removed the obstacle.
Quite frankly, nobody seemed to miss The Obstacle and all got on with their lives without it...

Yes, I agree for Peter.
And I was also shocked that neither his brother who has been close to him all his life nor the parents seemed very sad.
Bad exemple for the boy which seems to me not the best man to be a doctor.

I am appaled by my orthographic errors due to the spellchecker and my own mistakes.🙄
I think I was influenced by the fact Benedict plays Phil, but even if he was basically a bad person, he spent a life of frustration because the beginning of XXe century and the country where he lived didn't allow to be different. So, I feel sad for the character and was shocked by the end I didn't see coming.
And even if Peter acted for his mother's happiness, he seemed to me too cold and heartless. His father was right when he said he has to learn to be kind which he isn't obviously.

Gordon was the boy's father who took his life sometimes ago.
After seing the movie, I bought the book, very interesting indeed.
The story was inspired by writer's life , not the end obviously, and it feels like he was a bit admiring Phil as a brilliant man , strong and brave , despite the fact he is also a toxic male.
A bit different from the movie where all what he does is to protect his mother in an extreme way. At l'East. it's how I feel it.
Not many movies make me think like this one.
Brilliant and the cast is great.
Like some of you, I stay away from close places, so Netflix it is and it's a pity considering the beautiful landscape.

This isn't exactly a response to Phantom's questions (miss you, Phantom!), but this cosplayer I've been following on Instagram for a little while posted some photos this week of a female Sherlock cosplay and I thought I'd share. I thought she did a good job. Her blue contact lenses are quite intense!

I don’t know if the lenses look the same on the girl but it’s a bit  scary on the pics. More like a vampire than Sherlock

Yes, it’s quite ridiculous imo but I think it’s all about money.
We’ll see what they call "new Sherlock" with sentiments.
Even if we know he always had but tried to hide them because, as Mycroft said, "Caring is not an advantage"

Doyle's estate? What was their problem?
I believe Sherlock Holmes is in the public domain, anyway, so anyone can create whatever they want related to it and what they have to say doesn't hold much sway.

It’s more complicated. The evolution of the character of Sherlock began after 1st WW and those novels are not in public domain yet. The empathy, being more human that they show in the movie don’t fit with the cold genius he was before and Doyle’s estate wants money obviously.
I hope you understand what I mean, not easy to explain in english.

Of course it's a joke but pretty funny and it shows that many people know how fun are his socks or "were", because now perhaps he wears more classical ones.

I found this few days ago and it reminded me how much he loves glow-in-the-dark socks.

Depends of what are the rules in your country. If schools are open, why not theaters ?
For the spectators, it's possible to put distance but in that case, they have to cancel part of the places. and draw a lot perhaps ?
But it's more difficult for actors indeed.
Hope for you things are going better. Fingers crossed.

Thanks for your answer, Liberty.
I'm trying to let the shopping in the garage for one or two days, I also put spray of bleach  but I can't do that for fresh or frozen one.
I told my friend she would have to wash every day what her son wear when he come back home even shoes but when you're not at risk, it's a bit demanding.
I don't think I'll want to go out before months and I can endure it.
Hope happy times be back soon.
Take care.

About the masks, I made one myself and someone told me to put inside the tissu a piece of vacuum cleaner's bag to improve protection.
Did anyone try this ?
A friend of mine is helping me by buying groceries for me (I stay at home because of high-risk group) but her 16 years son will go back to school soon and I worry that he brings the virus at home and contamine her without symptoms (she's tough) so I try to anticipate more precautions.
Those new measures tend to increase herd immunity which is good for the end of the pandemic but bad for unhealthy people.

Preventive measures against the virus were quite strict from the very start here in Slovakia, so the situation here is not so bad considering the number of the infected, I think. But the inability to do anything but to mope at home, the uncertainty about the future, the economic black-hole that sucks out life from forcefully closed down shops, a duty to appear in face mask everywhere, even when you are strolling in an empty park, the inability to visit your relatives out of fear that you´ll bring infection to them.... it really gets on one´s nerves and I am afraid it will end up in a full-scale depression soon.

I think things are easier to endure when you know when that will end. It's not what is happening now.
You don't know when you will return to work, can't make projects.
At least, here in France. Perhaps some countries manage better. Anyway, even countries like China which tried to end confinement worries the second wave like they say.
I have a friend in Taiwan and he told me that they take that very seriously at the beginning, isolated ill people immediately, wear masks, etc... and they didn't have confinement and not so many dead people. But they trust their governement and are obedient, have civic sense. It's not what I see here in France. I don't think things will be better in one month so letting kids come back to schools is an heresy and as it's only to let people who stay at home to take care of their children be able tocome back to work, it's economy above health. How can we trust these leaders ?
Sorry, I'm in a bad mood after yesterday announcements here.

Hope you and your families are doing well.

Obviously, that was my whole point.
Just a tad concerned.

I think that's the point.
People who like Ben and his family are concerned not curious.
Knowing there is a third boy will reassure them. No need to know more.
But it's their life, their decision. We respect that.
