Daughter orderded a new coat for the dog.
We opted for rose red colour.
It just arrived,
Daughter opened the package and out fell a dog coat of a...
frankly alarming shade of pink!

Whenever I order something, I always wonder how the colour will actually appear in real life. Photos in a catalogue or online taken in studio lighting don't always look the same. Was it like the pink suitcase in A Study in Pink?

I think your dog won’t mind the color and you can’t lose him if he escapes in the crowd. 
I like this color, it gives healthy look.
But you’re right, the color you receive is not often the one you ordered.
