143 means I love you- 1 letter in I, 4 in love, 3 in you.
See sometimes words may get in the way
Of things that you really really mean to say
So I wanna out this time to make sure that how I really feel
Gets through to you
Cause listen
There aren’t many more ways and words that I can say
So I choose to tell you how I feel in a numerical way
Got so tired of trying to find the most complicated way
To say it to you so I simplified and broke it down
To 143 – and that means I love you

Code 128 is a Uniform Symbology Specification (USS Code 128) alphanumeric bar code that encodes text, numbers, numerous functions, and designed to encode all 128 ASCII characters (ASCII 0 to ASCII 127), as used in the shipping industry.
Yay for wikipedia!

I sent 3 texts to johns number saying 'baker street, come at once if convenient. SH' 'If inconvenient, come anyway. SH' and of course 'Could be dangerous SH'
Slightly concerned someone has now dashed over to baker street but oh well. Feeling like a cool kid with their numbers on my contact list

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had texted Sherlock on 07544680989 (the number from the pilot)? If so, what did you say? Did you get a reply?
I really want to text the number but I can't think of what to say- were there any text to Sherlock on the show?
(yes, I do understand that he is a fictional character (sadly) but thought the number was so obvious that the bbc might have set something up for it)

I did, too! I wear it on days when I need a bit of attitude.

Where did you get it from? I've been trying to find one.

Ok bit of a pointless game. Basically we count to 1895. One number per post. (This is also a great way to get your post count up!)
I'll start

I heard that on one of the commentaries Benedict says that Sherlock found out that his father was having an affair. I'm thinking maybe a young sherlock told his mother this causing his parents to spilt up and his mother to withdraw leaving microft to raise him. Thoughts?

I found Sherlocks reply rather interesting 'there's an entire childhood in a nutshell'. What do you think he meant by that?
