Finally!  "Helloooo!", lol!
I'm enjoying the new series.  I think Fire Walk With Me is my fave Lynch film, & Twin Peaks is my fave work of his.
Bob was my fave character!  RIP Frank!  I'm not sure why.  Maybe cuz he was a part of the set crew & fell into the role by accident.  Maybe the mystery of what he was.  Recently some TP convention interviews have appeared on You Tube, some in depth questions answered by Frank & he was a sweet guy (once you hear him talking).
That's really cool that Mark is a fan!

I'm just getting this NOW?!  Hello!  I'm a fellow Scottie!  I'm addicted to the man!  Glad to see Andrew get a mention!  Happy New Sherlock Day!  ;)  Let's get some answers/clues about the great Moriarty!

By the way...that photo of Andrew, from the fake S4 trailer, is a shot of Andrew in The Stag film.
But you probably know that by now!  Such a great film!  Anyway, I keep remembering all the reporters trying to get info out of Andrew & he never does come out & bluntly say "I'm not in the series anymore."  He skirts around the question, playfully.  ;)

Thanks Bruce!  I like your detailed explanation! Fingers crossed!  I want to believe that there IS a long Moriarty thread throughout this world of Sherlock!

I have a feeling that Mycroft knows all about Mary's past, probably through CAM.  Why else would he warn Sherlock not to get involved?

The Reichenbach Fall » characters' knowledge about Moriarty after the roof scene » March 14, 2015 1:43 pm

Good discussion here!  I was wondering about the gif & why certain people reacted the way they did.  For example:  Mrs. Hudson.  When did she actually come face to face with Moriarty?  When he came for tea, he let himself in.  She didn't appear to be around.  She may have seen his face in the paper, but her reaction to him, on screen, was total panic!  Wouldn't her reaction (having not met him), been a little more bewildered, as opposed to panic?
Did she know him?!  Was his criminal network somehow linked to Mr. Hudson's trouble?  (Maybe that was too long in the past)
Mary sort of paniced too.  I have a feeling she was working for Moriarty.
Even Molly didn't exactly panic as much as Mrs. Hudson; and she knew more about him, at least.
Can't wait for the Christmas special where all will be revealed!  (In Victorian times though?)
???

I'm glad you found Twin Peaks!  It was/is brilliant!  I hope you know that Lynch has written a continuation!  I think it will air, on Showtime, in 2016.
The 2 seasons had some boring parts/characters, but overall it was ahead of it's time!  Lots of good jokes in it!

The Reichenbach Fall » I.O.U. Update: Breakthrough! » January 11, 2015 5:54 pm

I forgot to mention, someone's reference to Rumpelstiltskin:  Wasn't that character after children for power, etc?  It made me think of Mary & John's baby.  Maybe this is a thread.

[color=#ffff00]Greetings!
All your posts, on this subject, are brilliant!  I'm going to throw in some tidbits:
Someone mentioned shoes & I instantly thought of M's threat of "I'll make you into shoes".  Lol!
I really love the Grimm Fairy Tales references.  I'm sure Mofftiss read these, as children, & wouldn't hesitate to use their significances.  I don't think it's far fetched or coincidences. (Didn't Mycroft say there were no coincidences?!)
The references to the Fairy Tales are just everywhere so they won't be ignored, like clues; but you all know this.  Anyway, well done:  Jago Bago & izatty!  I loved your notes!
I thought of/seemed to remember S mentioning the assassins sparing him because he had the code.  (9, 15, 21)  I'm not sure about Canon, but every other book I've read about Moriarty stories, dubs him as a brilliant mathemetician.  So why wouldn't numbers & calculations abound?  He's playful, as well, like a Grimm story teller & he loves being the villian within this world.  (Sorry if my thoughts are scattered here)
I love sofiou21's link to Tumblr too!  Well done!  I might have to share this & others on my Andrew Scott group page:  Andrew's Scotties.  I hope you don't mind.  They need a wider audience!  I think the mention of The Strange Musician story was a great find!  It all makes sense!  As does the hilighted Snow White quote about suicide!  Thanks so much for sharing your deductions/research!
I also thought back, to the roof scene, when M gets frustrated.  S is still not letting on that he's figured stuff out, so M is trying to not miss any pieces of what S is feeding him.  (They just love playing, don't they?!)   Maybe M thinks S is on the wrong track, saying "it's too easy", why haven't you figured out all these clues I've left you?!  And I definitely agree that Staying Alive is the final problem!
Last note:  M singing, in the Mind Palace, is a sort of nursery rhyme song, isn't it?  Or at least playful to the end

I got into Dr. Who again, since Tom Baker, when I heard Peter was the next Doctor!  What a great choice!  It's also something to be involved in, between Sherlocks!  The crossover is fun!

I just finished The Shadow of Reichenbach Falls by John R. King.  It's fantastic!
Moriarty pushes Sherlock over the Falls, but Sherlock is saved by 2 people.  He lost his memory & doesn't know who he is or who's chasing him.
A great read, with some background history of Moriarty.

Series Four News » Key word? » October 30, 2014 1:19 pm

Maybe each of the 3, in Series 4, are ghosts of different people's past.  And if the X-Mas special is counted as a 4th show in Series 4, then maybe it starts there.  Maybe the last show in the series ties them all together, with bits of them linked.
The League of Gentlemen did that with their 3rd Series, I believe.  It was very cleverly tied together!

Costume » Does anybody have a coat like Sherlock's? » October 26, 2014 6:40 pm

Now I want one!  You guys are great models!
But of course I can't stop at the coat!  I'd need the scarf (I've got the gloves)!
I need a 2nd job to afford all this!

Love the dress!  I'd say hello to anyone wearing it in the street!

I just saw one, in Hot Topic.  It was hanging very high, on the wall, but it looked cool.  Even had the red thread!
