The 50th special was just flat out amazing!! Watched with my little brother last night, also a Who fan, and we just loved it! So much new stuff and old stuff weaved together, and it was just wonderful! I feel like I'm going to have to watch it a couple more times to catch things I may have missed the first time. No Sherlock trailer afterwards here that I saw, will have to look for that online.

I love the b&w pics! They say that black and white photos are very unforgiving as they show a lot of flaws that you may not see otherwise. I'm seeing absolutely no flaws here!!

I am so excited for this episode!! Those pics that were posted from it on the last page are wonderful!
I'm actually having a small Doctor Who viewing party for this episode, and found some of the most wonderful cookie cutters at an Etsy shop so that I can have Doctor Who themed cookies!!
I'm also hoping for a trailer soon!

.Haha oh yes, well the state of Missouri where I live is in the middle of the U.S., so you're looking at hours of travel time to get to either coast which is where a lot of popular destinations are. So the five hour bit doesn't sound too terrible to me. But it is still quite a distance. If I did make it overseas, I would like to see as much as possible in one trip though, so it would be doable. I would just have to make sure and not spend too much time in the Louvre.
And I bet Germany is lovely... my granndparents lived there for a time when my grandfather was in the service, and they say it was nice. I recall when Google Earth became popular; he was excited to see the Zugspitze mountain on there.
