Well, finally got some Halloween pictures XD  The kids were pretty cute this year:

My daughter was Die Königin der Nacht (The Queen of the Night) from Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute).

And my son was the 10th Doctor from "Doctor Who" (David Tennant):

*melt*  So precious.

I'm a single mom of two darling boys, reluctant musician, renegade accountant, music junkie, listless foodie, bumbling writer, dedicated bibliophile, and romantic adventurer.

Well, that deteriorated quickly.  From vocations to bondage.  Oh, I love you lot. <3

I like that shot. John's hobbling up the stairs and Sherlock waits for him before opening the door. You'd expect someone like him to just go on ahead, especially in the early days. But he waits for John to catch up

Just so!

I'm still holding steadfast to my theory of love at first sight

Yes.  This.  Sorry, loves, but I'm a steadfast Johnlock shipper.  Can't help it.

Has anyone seen this before? Probably, but I didn't.

I just noticed it wasn't there before Irene had obviously returned his coat.

I noticed it immediately.

I find myself listening to a lot of instrumental soundtracks lately.  Just not in the mood for words right now, I guess ^^  I listen to a wide variety of stuff overall, but I usually listen to one kind of music at a time until I move on.

I can relate with that one.  My interests are very broad.

What specific instrumental soundtracks are you listening to?

The latest ones have been:

Doctor Who (of course)
Broadchurch
Sherlock
Game of Thrones
Ghibli films
Star Trek films
etc

Before that, I was on a Broadway kick XD  Before that, I was on an Opera kick.  Before that was a J-Pop kick.  I just have very strange tastes XD

Oh, lovely, that's not strange at all.  It's just diverse. ;)  You're a kaleidoscope of lovely traits, and kaleidoscopes are much more interesting with millions of facets.

I go from Carmina Burana, to Louis Armstrong, to Nine Inch Nails, to Mozart, to Lamb of God, to Adele... and so on and so forth.

Hello, my name is Chelle, and I'm a Music Junkie. :D

I believe you can tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to... be it their current mood, their overall personality, or whatever it is they're trying to work out (as with our beloved Sherlock and his violin).

Which begs the question, what music do you find yourself listening to right now?

For me right this moment: Mumford and Sons Sigh No More album.

Sherlock is no stranger to disgrace and ridicule.  But sacrifice... I think that is the pinnacle of his character development.  The admission that yes, he's does care, and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect those closest to him.
