Character Analysis » Mary Moriarty? » March 16, 2014 4:23 pm

I've heard this theory before. I've also read theories that Janine may also be the real Moriarty, or Moriarty's sister. I think there's more to Moriarty's return than simply shooting himself in the head and surviving. I think someone else is orchestrating it, but not quite sure who or why. I can't wait to see the explination.

I don't think Mycroft can see every little thing. I think he knows what Sherlock wants him to know, and sees what Sherlock wants him to see. He didn't know Janine was in Sherlock bedroom, or that Sherlock was back on drugs/ crashing in the drug house. If he did, he would have put a stop to it as soon as he saw it.

This is like making a favorite song list; it changes depending on the mood I'm in, and may be completely different tomorrow. I'll try anyway:
1. His Last Vow (Gods, this was intense. I have never laughed, cried, and gasped in shock during a single epsidoe of a tv show before this.)
2. The Reichenbach Fall
3. The Great Game
4. A Scandal in Belgravia
5. The Hounds of Baskerville
6. The Empty Hearse
7. The Sign of Three
8. A Study In Pink
9.The Blind Banker

My user name and signature come from the song "Presto" by Rush. I've been using lyrics from that song to form user names ever since I first went onto the internet. My avatar, a little otter in the snow, has nothing to do with the otter memes going around. I once joined a message board, and every possible user name I could think of was taken, so I added "Otter" to it, making the name Winter Otter (this was back in 1999). So now I use lyrics inspired by "Presto" and sometimes otters.

At first, I didn't think he was very attractive (not that looks matter to me when it come to acting ability), but then I noticed how adorable his smile was. He has such a cute smile, I couldn't help but love him.

This song came on shuffle after a Sherlock marathon on Netflix, and I thought it appropriate. It can be a song about potenital lovers not being able to tell each other how they fell, or  friends not being able to tell each other how much they actually mean to one another. It's "We Only Say Goodbye" by the progressive metal band Fates Warning:

Today was the end of a dream
as I watched your shadow disappear
another moment for the memory
as we lose another year

Thought I heard You call my name
but you only said goodbye

Always somewhere we only say goodbye
going nowhere
we only say goodbye
there's never time to say
all the things we need to say
when it's too late
we can only say goodbye

Tonight I felt your presence again
as we shared the sorrow we've always known
but I heard the distance in your voice
and I knew I was alone

Tried to tell you my deepest thoughts
but I only said goodbye

Always somewhere we only say goodbye
going nowhere
we only say goodbye
there's never time to say
all the things we need to say
when it's too late
we can only say goodbye

Across the miles
both of us reaching we try
but it's so hard to touch
when we only say goodbye

always somewhere
we only say goodbye
going nowhere
we only say goodbye
there's never time to say
all the things we need to say
when it's too late
we can only say goodbye

always somewhere
we only say goodbye
going nowhere
we only say goodbye
there's never time to say
all the things we need to say...

I ususally pace back and forth and yell every swear word in the book. Then, I take my dogs for a long walk.

I'm from Akron, Ohio. We used to be the rubber capital of the world, but now we're just the capital of foul mouthed beer drinkers.

Introductions Please... » Hello all! » September 22, 2013 8:54 am

I've been lurking for a few days here, so I figured I'd register officially. I've been a fan of Doctor Who since I was a kid, and Discovered Sherlock through various Doctor Who discussions. I finally decided to watch it around the beginning of this year, and I've been obssessed ever since. Some personal stuff: I'm from Akron, Ohio, married with two dogs, and I love music, hiking, and medieval/fantasy reenactment.
