Introductions Please... » Vienna has Sherlockians. » July 2, 2012 6:54 pm |
Heeeeeeeeeeeey!
Welcome in these gorgeous forum! Nice to meet other Viennese Sherlockians!
[sorry for breaking up with the english language in exactly 2 seconds...]
so, now for the common understanding:
I'm really astonished that there is already a formation in Vienna which celebrates and loves Sherlock as much as I doooooo! haha
Other Sherlockians in my immediate area... I reached heaven

If I ever have the opportunity to write something to a more or less famous person or a person I like and want to impress (which happend here and there), it takes me weeks to find out what might be the best text.
So you can imagine what I would say: probably nothing - or something totally uninteresting or even stupid.... (I experienced this, too...)
I'm the kind of person who knows exactly the right words - 5 minutes too late!
haha ooooh yes! it's always the same game: bad in confrontation and then - after a while of awkward thinking - knowing about 20 ways to beat every other argument! ;)
If I had the chance to stand behind/before Benedict at Starbucks or something like that I really would not know what to say in the very first moment. But then, I think I would turn around and just ask if he's in a hurry or if he wants to join me drinking a coffee at a near table or something. AND IF HE REALLY ANSWERS POSITIVE i would dance and jump around - in my head.
And in this stressless situation small talk would be the best of all. Just asking about how the filming goes on and how the chemistry on the set is etc. Just nothing special. and of course ask for a photo to remember this GORGEOUS of all days of my entire life! *faint*
I succeded if he tells just one person that he met a nice girl, who he had coffee with today...
haha

Hey everyone!
My name is sherlove, which is obviously not my realy name but I adore the combination of sherlock & love
I'm female. My real name was a very common 50's Name in America & Europe, as I read somewhere times ago. It starts with the letter 'L'. (just in case you wanna guess)
I'm also very dedicated to this time (50's): love the fashion, the hair styles, the 'old' (but gold) Hollywood and the roots of beautiful feminine curves & (in my opinion) femininity itself.
So it's not very suprising that my fashion idol is Marilyn Monroe.
One of my beloved hobbies is acting. I played Marilyn in one of our productions with our theatre club and loved it.
I'm 19 but I'll turn 20 in January. Dunno if this is something to look forward to^^
I love all kinds of animals (except Spiders) and have a dog and three cats and fish.
London and the GB were always one of my favourite destinations, Sherlock made that visit-desire just unbearable ;) Before Sherlock I already had an obsession with Jane Austen and her lovely book 'Pride & Prejudice'. And the movie adaptation of 2005 starring Keira and Matthew - so lovely.
As you see I'm a very romantic person. I love Love itself even though Love does not seem to love me the way I love it.
Since Sherlock I'm cumberbatched.
I speak German, English, Spanish, a bit Italian and tried to learn Russian two years ago but gave it up soon.
I love to read books - well, who doesn't?
Favourite writers: J.W. Goethe, Jane Austen, Sir ACD, Daniel Kehlmann, J.K. Rowling.
I also love to write stories, books, poems and every other stuff that comes to my mind. Unfortunately very much comes to my mind. It's always fully occupied up there^^
Just three weeks ago I passed my A-Level exams with distinction. That's something I'm really proud of :D
I'm a long haired natural blonde but apparently smarter than the common stereotype says about us. (hypergreenfrog: so right! ;) )
Puh... what to tell more?
I practiced Karate

Sorry for writing everything in german... it just came over me anderen yeah I wasn't able to stop myself
In summary I just wrote how wonderful it would be to have an Austrian Fanmeeting in Vienna with Picknick and stuff talking about BC & Sherlock My dream *-*

Der Bereich ist ja wirklich super! :D

dear sherlockians
if you are, like me, suffering from PRS, this videos will really help you make it through! :D
I love to listen to them and of course, watching them when I don't bear it anymore!
the first has the wonderful title:
reichenbach medicine
I really love this one! But there are so many more in my playlist!
PS: uploaded my first today. In comparison with this above my can't really be named as "sherlock fan video" (although it is), but I will hopefully archieve more knowledge in how to make good videos soon
one of my fav scenes of the "behind the scenes of season 2"

We offer support for this affliction, a sort of self-help group.
You are very welcome
That's good to know! :D Hard times for Sherlockians... but we will survive! We have each other at least til the new season starts ;)

Hello, Sherlove (amazing name), nice to have you here. Seems as if you Austrians are going to outnumber the Germans ;) . But just wait and see, I'm gonna spend my holidays in your country and then I'm going to plaster all of Steiermark with "I believe in Sherlock Holmes" stickers :D

Abend, Sherlove!
Wo bist du denn genau her?
Ja, wir Österreicher müssen ja zusammenhalten :D (but I love everybody else as well!)
@everybody:
thank you so much for your warm welcome! I wish I just could make a biiiiiiiig random hug that includes everybody in here! :D

Hello Molly! :D haha thank you and thank you!
btw your name is lovely as well
aww me too! Since I started watching the Sherlock Series I can't stop thinking of it anymore. Already started reading the original stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. And of course everything is a big improvement in my english skills! Sometimes my sister is a short way before killing me but usually a closed door is enough to drown in my Sherlove life...
I'm pretty astonished about this huge fandom of lovely people keeping each other up on the sherlockian drug with news and pictures. Sherlockians are really nice persons Glad to meet you all!
Thank you! Just a fast made avatar for this forum And hell yes, this quote is so sherlock, it had to be used in it
haha loooovely! Good Night, St. Bart's!
sherlove
PS: Davina: Just need to say the same with GB! (Guessing you're living there )
But yeah, Vienna is really a beautiful city!
Thank you for your welcome So kind people in here, why didn't I find this forum earlier? Suffering from Post-Reichenbach-Syndrome for a while...

Hey BigFan!
Awww I'm feeling like home already, even if this is my second post in here :D
Also ein herzliches Willkommen! :D
Translation: Unfortunately there aren't many people interested in the BBC Sherlock Series in Austria. Some don't know it at all. So a very warm welcome! :D

hey sherlockians! I'm so glad that I found this forum. I wasn't looking for anything like that but now, after scrolling through some great conversations, I'm just speechless and very delighted that I'm able to join your freaking lovely sherlock fandom! (puuuh this was a long sentence... forgive me)
I'm from Lower Austria (near Vienna) and unfortunately one of the first in my immediate area who's watching this gorgeous series of BBC.
Appearently there are some other Austrians in here (I stalked the forum before): schön, hier nicht allein zu sein!
Hopefully I don't make too many spelling errors or anything. I'll try to keep my english in the very best mood! haha
