Hi Patricia, welcome to the madness, glad you decided to join up. Just remember that, even though you, like me, are one of the more 'mature' members, you can be as sensible or as silly as you want. I err on the side of silliness.

Thanks, hepzibah! As the saying goes, "There's no point in being grown-up if you can't be silly sometimes."

Look  inside this thread for some answers,  ok?

Also--Hit  QUOTE   inside  this post,  and you'll see  that I did the same thing that Susi  advised.  One thing to note--when you put the name of a color in the brackets,  sometimes they  won't work,  and then you'll have to use numbers.

Here's a site   that  will list  bb code numbers  for colors.

Thank you SusiGo, Davina, and sherlockskitty for your help. I found what I needed, edited my signature, and am please with the results. Easy peasy when you have help and know what to do! Thanks again, ladies!

Just out of curiosity, what does the Welsh mean in your signature?

Thanks, hypergreenfrog, I really do like it here, so much fun and information!

To answer your question -- Years ago Welsh singer Tom Jones had a TV show that was broadcast weekly here in US and he always close his show with these words. The translations is "Blessed be your life, and I wish you joy always." It's been one of my favorite quotes for many years.

I tried using the search feature but got no hits, so I'm guessing this question has not been asked before. If it has, please feel free to redirect me. How does one go about changing the color of the text in the signature line? Thank you!

Hi, my name is Patricia. I have a fabulous daughter, a wonderful son-in-law, and 2 very wonderful grandsons, the oldest of which I have introduced to Sherlock. I have liked and loved a lot of programs over the years, but none so much as Sherlock...I could watch all the episodes 24/7 and never get tired of them. I am really glad to have found this forum and have actually spent several days visiting and reading the posts before I finally decided to register; I've enjoyed reading all the wonderful posts, and I feel like I know everyone already. I don't know how often I will post but I will definitely "pop in" as often as I can. And like everyone else, I am "patiently" waiting for series 3...
