I'm writing an essay on digital media and BBC's Sherlock and I'd really like to know when the blogs went online, yet my research skils are failing me.
Does someone here know/remember? So far all I found is that John's blog went online prior to the airing of The Great Game; so my guess would be that all websited did.

What I found extremely useful when it comes to pictures is a certain google function:
If you open google image search, there are two symbols in the search bar: a camera and a microphone. Select the camera and it allows you to enter an image url or upload a file - if you then click search it will provide you with "sources" where he image can be found.
I once did that for a picture on tumblr whithout credit and went through about five image forums (fanpop, weheartit, etc) until I finally found my way to the original image on the artist's devianart page.

I probably skewed your survey a little with me liking Mary It was so hard to pick a favourite minor character! I sat for a good five minutes, staring at the screen and trying to decide between Mycroft and Jim. I picked Jim in the end, but maybe you can count me in for both of them
I'll make a note of it! Fortunately I could decide that easily - my heart belongs to Greg :D but fyi, currently Mycroft has more votes in that category!
and re: Mary - more than 50% of the participants so far think positively of her, so you're not alone in liking her
@martha: hehe, i could try my hand at paint^^

I loved Ten as well.. but Jack Harkness stole my heart ;) If you ever need another TV show I can reccoment Torchwood. I prefer it over DW actually.... and it will tear your heart out...

I probably totally skewed your survey, being a hardcore non-Johnlocker and liking Mary as a character.
Hehe, you are not alone :D there are a lot more than you might think! And I have to say, even if I believe she is working for Moriarty, I do like Mary as a character!

Btw, randomly can I applaud you for your choices of gender?
Thank you! It was important to me to give them even though I'm a cis woman, but that doesn't mean everyone's so sure. While researching how to formulate such questions in surveys most would just say: Put female, male and "other", which appaled me...

Oh, and I just had a look at your tumblr and of course immediately saw that Doctor Who regeneration collection... Tennant's "I don't want to go" even kills me when I just see a tiny gif...
Oh yes, I'm not too deep in the DW fandom but it still gave me feelings...
And Sherlock is wonderful topic to write about! One day there'll be books over books in film schools, maybe like there are with Buffy :D

Yay, that sounds amazing! I'm visiting London with my sisters to see Martin Freeman in Richard III at the end of September and it'd be awesome to tour the locations with a BBC Sherlock fan!
You can probably expect at least two customers from Germany in September

Thanks :D Since I'm very new at this, do you have any pointers, rules, dos and don'ts that I need to know about? Any cardinal sins of forum users?
