Remarks potential clients may hear from Sherlock"

"An eight at least. I'll take the case."
"Boring. Next one."
"Consulting detective. Only one in the world."/"Certainly not, that's obvious!"
"Door is that way. Bye."
"Extraordinary! ........... My colleague will take care of it."
"Fantastic murder! ...Never mind, go on."
"Get out."
"Hardly worth my time!"
"I'll put my best man on it."
"Just get to the point!"
"Kidnapped?  Hardly.  He's in Minsk with the kitchen maid."
"Look, you're making for too much stupid in the room. Please go."
"Mind Palace...get out!"
"Not my division. I trust you'll find the door on your own."
"Obvious. Why can't you just THINK?"
'"Preposterous---  that's not how it happened at all."
"Quavers?!? I don't eat during a case!"
"Really? No... that's not the way it is!"

Films » Recently watched movies. » November 1, 2012 4:19 am

Recently I watched "Ex", Italian-French comedy. It presents several stories about loving couples, and has much in common with "Love Actually", but it is lighter and funnier version.
In fact, I don't like comedies as a genre, but this one is an exception. It is very light, good-humoured, romantic, very funny and sometimes sad film. A good choice for a lazy evening under a plaid with a mug of tea and biscuits.

Sadly, my colleague couldn't choose a Ben pic today because she was absent due to illness. That's why I printed out one of my favourites and pinned it to the wall behind her so that I can see it. Maybe tomorrow she'll be back and then she can choose one that will be pinned behind me (above the London calendar).

Will you exchange your seats sometimes?

Someone said "easy-peasy" at work, and I almost jumped on her: "Where did you get that phrase?!" It turns out it was not Sherlock-related.

I can imagine your disappointment . You must have been almost dreaming about having found the same obsessed Sherlockian nearby to talk about all the Sherlock related stuff and such a disappointment...

From my clothes he will deduce I have a long-haired cat
From my sofa he will deduce I have a long-haired cat
From my kitchen he will deduce I have a long-haired cat

Oh god, my cat's hair is everywhere! I'm afraid he's my most characteristic feature.

But to be serious:
From the numberless painting crafts in my desk he'll deduce I like painting.
From the amount of 'beauty' stuff in my bathroom he'll deduce I'm mad about self-care
From the inner of my fridge he'll deduce I don't eat at all ))) (the truth is I eat outside of house mostly)
From the mess in my rooms in mornings he'll deduce I'm a sleepyhead and constant 'in-a-hurry-woman'

Meet The Members » POLL: Other Languages » October 30, 2012 11:29 pm

My mother language is Russian. The second is English (fluent, at least I hope so ), the third is German (some years ago I spoke quite freely, as for now I read literature and watch news in German, but hardly speak). Also I learnt Latin at the institute, still remember lots of proverbs, able to translate a text, with a dictionary of course.
That's a pity I don't speak German for a long time, one tends to have difficulties at speaking without constant practice.

I changed my desktop wallpaper from 'Ben' to a random one, because I couldn't concentrate on my work  . My only desire was to close all the windows and gaze at Ben...

Hmm, so far I only see Season 1 on there, but it's worth keeping an eye on. Thanks.

You're always welcome

SusiGo, your post reminds me of my reaction to the phrase 'easy-peasy', I always think about Ben

You're right, but Sherlock could have thought of some way out... perhaps, taking some of the pill's inside stuff.

A Study In Pink » Donovan, did she ever date Sherlock? » October 30, 2012 12:00 am

Donovan dating Sherlock- is the craziest thing I've ever thought of  . I think they disliked each other from the very first moment, so they could hardly have dated.

I am disappointed Sherlock didn't pocket the pill and analyze it chemically to see if he was right.

So am I! I thought it was Sherlock's nature to get to know the truth, especially taking into account his willingness to prove his being wiser than the others, so I was highly disappointed that he ignored the pills analyzing.

Oh, this is going to be difficult. You have an enormous amount of choice around here. No, I'm not going to mention braces. *whistling to myself*

Oh, those braces!

If I have a chance to choose one of Ben's pictures, I will certainly choose one from PBS interview. He looks great there!  . Or Ben in a blue suite. Or Ben-Sherlock with curls. I'm afraid I would be like a Buridan's ass  , thanks God I don't have to choose
