And before John (speaking with dead Mary) was ashamed that he still wanted more then texting. Moral dilema solved - I am sure he does not want any more.

Interesting way how to deal with cheating man. How quickly would  they change their mind if their idol shows to be a mad killing maniac.

Sherlock killed Magnussen on Christmas Day 2014. The events of season 4, with Mary giving birth etc. must follow straight on from S3 story line, which means the show is currently in 2015. "Christmas 5 years ago" would have been 2010. That was the night of the Christmas party in 221B when Sherlock discovered Irene's phone on the mantlepiece (and her fake death).

According to CAM Sherlock was dead 2010-2013. So was not it rather Christmas 2009 ?

What was the fridge room in T6T? I have not noticed any explanatinon so  the only idea that came across mind is:

It is Mycroft's fridge. He is on diet all the time. As an analogy to a person, that wants to reduce number of cigarets so hides them and makes less accessible, he has his fridge somewhere in cellar, far from his living room so that he thinks twice before he goes there to eat something.

It is not a perfect theory but do you have better?

Agreed.  And you don't think Sherlock would be willing to make 221b safe for Rosie?!?!?  It's already obvious he adores her.

He is willing but not able , I am afraid. There are too many dangerous things, too few room where to lock them, I give her month before first dangerous situation.
I know au-pair just from the other side, have several friends that were in Britain as au-pairs and the families did not seemed to have  extraordinary income, usually man with a good work (but John has a good work, too) wife at home or doing only some minor work, charity. But it was some time ago.

When did we see that?

Clown and the girl in Mycroft's house. Sherlock said them then something like " Go to Wiggings, he will pay you by the gate and do not spend in  the first drug den . " In fact it was quite eleborate in the house, with the blood from eyes , unloaded gun and answering girl. I wondered how he had managed it but he had his own people.

I imagine visiting "uncle Sherlock" as the favorite part of her live (and his maybe too), but living in one house with these two men, discussing mostly murders, would create rather unhealthy emotional atmosphere for the little child.

When you switch normal TV broadcast on, it´s mostly murders too.

Also, I believe John and Sherlock can control themselves around the child - like most policemen, army men, surgeons and other people whose job can be considered "bloody".

It is hard to control yourself if your living room is office for clients. I know it is nice to have all of them in Baker street but it is not good for any of them. And it is more natural for John to share room with Rosie  then Sherlock, she will need him even at night for some time.

The variant with au- pair and John staying in his house seems to me the most realistic. Baker street can never be adapted suitable for child  and it means sustain suitable for child despite of activities that happen there , I cannot imagine it. It would not be Sherlock any more.

One unanswered question about their childhood:

Mycroft once said something like, we thought you were stupid until we met other children.

Besides the fact that it does not make much sense regarding Victor, does that mean they did not go to school?

One Victor is not  a representative sample ,  they might have had home teachers or mother was teaching them, it was something in HLV like she stopped  with science for children.

- Homeless network members in action again
- Mrs. Hudson hoovering with Iron Maden
- The surprise of Greg that Sherlock knows his name and he even thanked  him.
- The scene at the graveyard  - Sherlock deciphering the song finally  which I still do not fully understand but it is not important. And John asking from the well " Is this strictly relevant? " - generally I like everything at Musgrave
- Sherlock playing better and better, teaching Euros how to feel better and learning from her how to play better

I cannot imagine these parents not to participate. They were told about her death much later but if they wanted to see her knowing she was a murderer (really killed people herself) how could they abandon her at the age of 6. I can imagine to arrange special care for her outside the house and  other children especially while she was so focused on Sherlock but not that they would not visit her often and let their child in some fortress without anything that a child needs to grow into a normal adult (at least try).

On the other hand Sherlock was traumatized and seemed to forget  as self-defence, there might have been a medical reason hide her from him. And then only Mycroft knew she was alive, why to tell him about a dead sister?

Violin was a Christmas present from Mycroft. Eurus asked for it and he must be first very rich, second feel guilty if he bought her not only any good violin but Stradivaris.

In HLV they had  to be planning something (somebody) behind Moriarty, how to explain the video? You cannot put anything like that at the end not knowing at all how to deal with it next time. And had to have a secret family tragedy on mind  from the beginning. But true is  that  not necessarily connected this way and I also believe the change from brother to sister but sister works emotionally better.

By the way, Sherlock could not have afforded Baker street alone, too at the beginning and his cases are profitable only sometimes. How is it that now he has no problem with money and rent? Or has he a special price (or more special price then before) from Ms. Hudson?

Also, what are Sherlock´s reoccuring dreams Ella mentions in TST?

Was not it only question if he had any? She expected it as a terapist, expected him to speak about it but he wanted something else from her.

Moriarty had to have the criminal network of his own. I already wrote it somewhere else but he met Eurus only several moths before his death when he was probably already bored even with his criminal activities and did not mind to die. But he had to be building the net for years and only when he started to be interested in Sherlock (why? maybe as an interesting enemy? ) Eurus wanted to speak with him and they created the plan that included Moriarty's death .

We can just guess what was the plan and if Eurus had the same plan or just used Moriarty. As he might think that killing himself he would kill Sherlock and she believed not or had a backup plan.

Moriarty was talking about the final problem on the roof, Eurus in Musgrave  but I am not sure what the final problem really was. For Eurus probably the song but for Moriarty?

Not a bad idea, but who would pay the nanny's salary?  John can't afford to, since he's not rich, so the Holmeses would have to do so.

Mary expected she might die. She had good life insuarance, John is receiving monthly rent from it now a Rosie will get the rest  at certain age (or how such things work). She had also a secret account with money from her previous life that she could not have admit to John while he did not know she was an assassin.
Shortly , we can consider money no problem for John.

It is not unexplained secret as I do not think he was sad  for anything concerning birthday. More he did not want  to speak about Irene. Now you know it (that we are texting form time to time).

But we still do not know what was in the John's letter Sherlock received form Molly.

Baker street is not only not suitable for a child, it is dangerous and in reallity it is not possible unless there is somebody with the child in every moment which prevents from any other work . I do not think that John being a doctor does not realise it.  But it is a show and they did not have to think about it for one scene. Next time, if there is any, Rosie will be at least 5.

Well, if they did indeed plan to tell this story about the crazy sister from the very beginning, then I can only call what they did for eleven episodes sloppy writing. Because as far as I remember there is exactly one thing that could be interpreted as a clue, and that indeed is Sherlock's deduction in ASiP about Harriet: "A sister. There is always something." This can indeed be interpreted as a rather good clue - but there just has to be more. There were things hinting at Moriarty right from the beginning, and I would expect something similar for Eurus if that's the story they wanted to tell.

I do not think this one had anything to do with Eurus. Sherlock even did not remember her.  But there was something from the begining, more subtle clues, why Sherlock is as he is (and Mycroft), something that was clear is going to be explained and it had to be a family tragedy that causes a person close from world, emotions in young age. I believe they were always planning this, how much in detail from the beginning hard to say.
