I am thinking we are missing out by not starting a business to sell Sherlock related fashion gear in trendy fitted styles. I am thinking a fitted ladies blouse version of the Purple Shirt, our own knockoff Belstaff ladies overcoat, a ladies deerstalker cap for Ascot, the retro pink suit, the green pegnoir, an Irene inspired knockoff Jacques Azagury little black dress and a Donovan inspired pencil skirt with matching knee pads.

I sew, and I've made it my personal mission to make a copy of Sherlock's coat for myself.  Finding the fabric is going to be the hard part--I haven't found any close enough for less than $40 a yard.  That kind of coat can take 6-8 yards of fabric.  Maybe I'll start a thread when I get around to it.

Looks like Benedict is on the receiving end of the Vulcan pinch in some of the set pics, one of which can be seen in that linked article above.  I can't wait to see what he does as the villain in the new Trek movie.  I liked the first one a lot, and have been looking forward to the new one.

Hello, littlebird! Welcome. You'll have fun here.
I used to live outside NYC, but am now in the Midwest. However, we have our Kindles in common. You'll find it handy when you're looking up a quote in the canon. Hope you're going to London.

I am actually going to Tokyo.  Reading Sherlock Homes will be a nice contrast with that city.  I think I'm going to go to London next year.  I've been there twice pre-Sherlock, and to think I've never been to Baker Street!

One of the reasons I don't register with a lot of forums is that I feel old and decrepit at the age of 36.  It's great to see such a mix of ages here.

Hello all, I'm from New Jersey in the USA.  I work in NYC every day.  I am relatively new to Sherlock fandom and am working my way through the canon.  I downloaded all of the stories to my Kindle to read on my upcoming trip.  I'd love to meet some local Sherlockians to hang out with!
