I just saw that audition clip and I came here (after a looong absence) just to say, WOW. THAT MAN'S VOICE. And that POSITIVELY SERPENTINE FACIAL EXPRESSION. Now THAT'S acting.

I absolutely love that story of that fan encounter, and our boy is looking in the pink of health! He looked like he just had a lovely sleep and a refreshing shower.
That aside, his forearms are KILLING ME. I was completely distracted by them throughout his interviews. Overall, he looked absolutely stunning. 
And who knew Barrowman was one of us? XD

Looks like a pretty strong cast too! Mark Strong, Charles Dance (who looked like his Vetinari/Tywin was slipping through at some points
