I'm just coming back from the movies, watching "The Stag" with Andrew Scott. A brilliant movie, makes you laughing out loud and crying. Andrew as brilliant as always.

Well, it's in Glasgow, in the Citizen Theatre http://citz.co.uk/whatson/info/miss_julie/
Though you'd have to hurry, last performance is on the 15th.

Last week I've been to a stageplay with Louise Brealey as lead actor ("Miss Julie"). It was great! Any chance someone else has seen it too?

ok today I was in the mood to write a little silly Sherlock poem. Not beta-read, all mistakes are mine

On a January day
These two men had met
Since then they stay
Together in one flat

They can be both quite sassy
And love solving crimes
But one of them is messy
Which makes the other one whine

They are clueing for looks
On their sitty things
They are on each other's hooks
That's what the birds sing

Then one of them 'deaded'
Or so it seems
That's what the other one's dreaded
In the worst of worst of his dreams

Two years later
The dead man came back
The hearse was empty
And so was the flat

Now they are alone
And they owe so much
But they don't phone
And don't meet up

This poem now ends
But their story does not
One day they'll hold hands
That will be quite hot

Yes, I opened a thread for this two days ago. Of course it is a pity not to have Sherlock back for Christmas but I can understand that he wants to play a variety of characters. It has always been the price for having him and Martin in the show.

oh sorry, havent seen that

Interesting, lots of Johnlockers (incl myself) think since S3 that it will actually happen on screen one day. So I can't quite understand the fuss.

Oh it's not only about fantasies. I am actually quite sure that John & Sherlock are very much in love with each other, but have to figure it out. The existence of Mary as John's wife proves exactly nothing.

there is another blog that deals with (mostly johnlock) subtext in BBC Sherlock: http://loudest-subtext-in-television.tumblr.com/
It's quite interesting, but sometimes over the top.

This is a very detailed analysis of ASiP which I really like: http://loudest-subtext-in-television.tumblr.com/post/74442263466/subversion-and-sherlock-a-study-in-pink

in the end it all depends on BC's schedule this year. If he doesn't have time, there will be no Sherlock on Christmas. That's it. AFAIK the only possible time period for filming is April-September/October (depending when Hamlet starts)

Hi Russell,

he tried to kill the guardsman to practise for Sholto. They have both the same type of belt.

And yeah, this episode is really sooo great, but also so sad in the end. Sherlock is alone :-(.

Things Mycroft said to Sherlock as a child

Alone protects you.
"Blackbeard" isn't actually a dog's name.
Clever one? Um, no, Sherlock, that's me!
Don't cheat again when we are playing "Operation"
(The) East wind is coming. It's coming to get you.
Fff...riends? What is that supposed to be?
Get YOURSELF some...
Hand me another piece of that cake .. and stop giggling!
It's serious, Sherlock, not a game.
John? What a boring name!
Khan? You've been watching this Star Trek rubbish again?
Love is a much more vicious motivator. (as an excuse after hitting his brother)
  / Love you, brother mine
My name is Mycroft, not Mike!
Nudity is not allowed in the hallway, Sherlock Holmes, put your trousers on!

Oh Sherlock, what have you done?
