How tempting! Hubby is on a business trip, so I could excuse my kid from school and just drop by. Will even make it by Sunday evening, I hope. I mean - I loooove ginger nuts!

My hubby's away on an overnight business trip today....
Just wondering if I have time to fit in both TST and TLD, before he gets back!

Mass hubby exodus. They can take the new and intense Sherlock no longer

I did tell my boyfriend I was cheating on him last Sunday... (With Sherlock!)... he got offended but I reminded him that he had told me in the same conversation that he was 'cheating' on me with a younger lady (babysitting his baby niece xD )

Well I'd been a little hyperventilating before TLD and literally hopping around with joy after. So hubby knows not to take anything I say in re to Sherlock seriously.

Bless him, my hubby is mostly amused by my obsession.
The last two Sundays he has found other things to occupy him and let me have the den and big TV all to myself.  The other day he told me I make funny noises while watching Sherlock!

The children like to torment me by texting and teasing me right up to the start of the episode.  They know though when to back off!  If they bothered me actually during the episode they know I would  beat them and lock them in a closet.

I wonder if Mycroft is watching old home movies here.

He looks rather alarmed.
It's unsettling to see Mycroft alarmed!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Be still, my heart!
I can't help comparing this picture to the chess version and trying to figure out what was so spoilery there. Maybe Mycroft only appears to be cooperative, all the while trying to manipulate Sherlock somehow? And then Sherlock figures him out and turns the table on him?

I love the picture! I wonder why that isn't spoilery when the chess one was...

Oh, and bless the lovely ignorance of my best friend... I talked to her about her coming here on Sunday and she went "Wait. this is the last episode?? How many are there per season... I thought there were at least 5!"

Oh. I wish.

That last picture looks as if the Holmes brothers are trying to convince John to do something or take a big decision... It's making me anxious... again !
