Funnily enough, I got Benedict first time, with honest answers (well as far as you can be honest in choosing colours and so on). I thought it was a trick and that would be the answe to everything, so I changed my answers and got Alex Pettyfer and then John Boyega - both a bit on the young side for me!

I just stumbled across something called "Lip Sync Battle" (I have no idea what this is, actually) where actress Emily Blunt is preparing for a 'battle' with Anne Hathaway. It's from over a year ago, but it's quite funny to watch her prepare for it by repeatedly saying "Benedict Cumberbatch":

I don't know if it's the right thread for this but I had to share it! Ben is so adorable! And since I used to interpret myself I can sympathize with the interpreter. We used to do 5–7 minutes at maximum but I guess Ben's answers tend to be longer.

I didn't know about him liking Kubrick so much or the fact about his father's past, or about his initial career consideration, or Smaug inspiration. The thing about his parents not wanting him to go into acting surprised me, since I watched a video where he talked about having moved his father so much with his talent, but maybe that was after the initial disapproval.

The music in that video was interesting. The beginning and end were calming but the middle was not.

I didn't know about Kubrick either, but kudos...
I laughed at his Anne of Green Gables moment with the hair dye...and also fondly remembered Sue saying about him stuffing his face every 2 seconds between shots, when he was beefing up for ST!

Yeah, I didn't know about Kubrick either, nor about the hair turning green (how I would've LOVED a picture of that!). Neither did I know about the calorie intake. Probably read about it somewhere, but forgot it.
