'Should' could possibly be a moot point.

I think you do not want to understand me, do you? Is my English really so bad? I am trying very hard to stay polite but I somehow get the impression that you just want to provoke me. I think it is quite sad if someone tries to spoil the fun for others.

Not at all, Susi, I just want you to be clear.
You know I do not accept there is Johnlock in BBC Sherlock.
So by virtue, you are saying I can not post here?
You can still be polite, but be definite.
You are a moderator after all and I have to do what you say, on that I have very little choice.

Fine, I am going to be clear: On such a board it is a matter of respect towards others not to provoke them and not to spoil their fun. You state clearly that you do not accept Johnlock. Then why are you here? (We have a debate thread for this and other members have accepted this distinction.)

And btw, it would be nice to consider my above attempt at explanation. I think this was clear enough. But it seems you want to force me to ban you which is absolutely not my style.

Well, possibly you were asking for a goodwill gesture, which I suppose is fair enough.
I feel bound to point out that is not so easy when you see others misrepresenting your views, or at least only gving one side.
But hey-ho, if I was that bothered, I would start a bromance only thread.
Which I wouldn't, cos I don't feel the need to defend that position and always welcome open debate.
I am surprised any Johnlockers feel so got at, as I certainly consider Johnlock to be the majority view.
On the contrary, as I tell my school children everyday: nobody forces us to do anything.
We have to be big enough to take responibility for our own actions and decisions.

I think it's quite simple, actually: This thread is meant for Johnlockers who want to have fun and agree on the Johnlock aspect in the show. For me personally that means that I definitely don't want to explain over and over again why I believe in Johnlock, I don't want to defend it. And I don't want to read (in this specific thread) why it doesn't exist on the show - that actually makes me a tiny bit aggressive by now, I'm sorry to say. We have enough other threads where that happens all the time, so please not here.

And yet, he's about to marry his pregnant girlfriend (or maybe he already married her--- I forget the timeline). Hmmm, strange how the human mind works, isn't it? No one (but John, presumably) is good enough for his Sherlock, but OTOH, John can go out and pick out someone to live his life with and marry her, right in front of God and all those witnesses. The green-eyed monster, it ain't so pretty, is it.

At that point John has already married Mary (the scene with Janine is from HLV), so at least on this front there's not much John can do anymore. But I'm pretty sure that Mary never would have 'happened' to John if Sherlock had been alive and there with him in 221B.

I am not asking for a goodwill gesture but for common sense, plain and simple. And I think it is clear that I am not the only one sharing this opinion.

Sherlock crowds right into John's personal space for a little eye coitus:

This scene is shot over John's shoulder, so the viewer experiences the full intensity of Sherlock's gaze.

....and poor John only wanted to show Sherlock the file on Irene Adler, and then that happens...

John's reaction to the worst kiss ever:

http://221behavior.tumblr.com/post/85278703037/jupitereyed-thescienceofobsession

At his wedding reception, John patted Sherlock and commented that he had "pulled" with reference to Janine; now he thinks that Sherlock is "pulling" a bit too much.

For me, in this thread, you can post anything that is according to the intention of the thread.
If you feel you can't bring yourself to doing it, post in another thread. Fair enough.

But all your behaviour now doesn't appear like you are interested in fairness or respect.

Yeah, that kiss is actually as romantic as John's and Mary's behaviour towards each other during their wedding day. And come to think of it, actually as romantic as their behaviour towards each other full stop.

And if John had looked a bit closer (instead of giving in to his jealousy) he would have seen how Sherlock's smile disappeared the moment Janine left the flat.

It's because these two emotionally repressed men can't express their feelings that we have seen 9 episodes, so far.  If they could communicate, it would have been all wrapped up  in 3.

In episode 9, Sherlock became all passive agressive---instead of telling John how he feels, he just made John jealous.  I wonder when (or if) John discovered that the 221B canoodling between Sherlock and Janine was as much of a farce as the proposal?

Also, Sherlock is jealous when he sees John with Sholto:

Both he and Ben are brilliant actors-- so very different in looks and in the types of roles they take, but somehow, their chemistry together when they come alongside to do John and Sherlock, is becoming legendary. After all, it's *because* of their chemistry that we Johnlock appreciators have been delighted out of our socks, over and over again. The two actors, and their two characters, click and always have.
