Not sure, but I think Sherlock uses another verbal tense ![]()
At least, that's what I hear (you know, I'm almost a hearing impaired)

But apart from that, you are, as usual, right ![]()

Hmm ... I hear "take" as well. I believe this to be right. Any other ideas, guys? ![]()
And you are no impaired herring, are you, Irene?
"hering" is German for "herring"...

Sounds fishy to me. But let's not go off on a wild goose chase...

Got a new puzzle for us, tobe?

_ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ ' _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ .

Yeeeeah, I corrected it ![]()
I'm not really hearing impaired (bad bussiness for a musician, though it worked for Divine Ludwig, who knows) but I have some trouble yet when it comes to understanding people talking fast or with some kind of accent. So, I really, really, really hear "I took..." but now I think it's probably because Benedict uses his deepest voice when saying that and mumbles a bit so... as I said, I'm like a hearing impaired in this case

And now... make us some T, please, tobe

It is correct. The phrase, used correctly, is 'to takethe precaution of... ' in this example.

The S, please, tobe
Davina, thanks. I just thought he said "I took the precaution..." but now I've listened carefully to it again and I think he says "I take the precaution...". Anyway, Benedict, if you ever read this, please try to vocalize for the sake of your loving Spanish fans ![]()
