    The excitement is palpable!  My heart is pounding!

    Memories! I am finishing up submitting Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) for a 3 day seminar I attended in Connecticut last year and I just typed in a very special date - Sunday May 5, 2012 - the night Series 2 aired for the first time on Masterpiece on PBS!  I will never forget it.  I left colleagues behind and raced up to my room where I sat glued to the TV screen counting down the seconds.  Then, there it was! And the pool scene resolved itself and I fell head-over-heels in love with "Sherlock" all over again. 

    I know we still have a long wait for 3 - but I can almost feel the same excitement I felt last May.  It's coming!

    This reminds me of something... if they start series 3 with John waking up from a nightmare I'll never be happy again.

    I don't remember the closet to the left of where the couch goes on the smiley face wall, and neither do I remember that window to the right of the couch that looks out into the hallway. ??? Were they always there and I slept through it?

    Who's the guy in profile in the painting to the left of the fireplace? Is that new?

    Sigh. Not til Christmas? If that's true, then that adds even more credence to the idea that we in the US won't see it until May 2014. I really do need to stop thinking about this, about this interminable wait; it's driving me batty crazy.

    Yeah, the window, closet and picture have always been there...it's just you get more chance to look at it in further detail when you're just slowly scrolling round the panoramic view rather than catching little snapshots of it in the back of scenes when you're concentrating more on the action, storyline etc.

    Anyway, I got quite excited about that article becuase I thought they were going to say they were considering a Christmas special. I'd love them to do a Christmas special of the Blue Carbuncle, but damn...not to have Series 3 until then...yikes, I was hoping to have it by August/September in the UK.
