Re: Johnlock Fic Recs *warning - adult content*

I have a question regarding that fic "Two Years As Your Interpreter". I'll put it in spoiler tags:

It's tagged for Major Character Death. Will Sherlock or John die in this fic?

This is exactly why I read the ending in the middle of it.

The whole fic is centered around the prophecy that Sherlock will die.

but there is a happy ending. If I remember correctly, he dies but is brought back to life afterwards.

Re: Johnlock Fic Recs *warning - adult content*

"Two years as your Interpreter" has to be one of the most thrilling and yet also the most sweet Johnlock fics I´ve ever read. Wonderful work!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Prettyvk is an amazing writer. The James Holmes series is one of my favourites as well.

Yes, I saw it but I am waiting until it is finished. For me there was only one fic which I read whenever a new chapter was posted.

Sherlock once tried to learn how to swallow swords. For some reason, John can't let this go.

5k words. Sweet and funny and hot at the same time!

Re: Johnlock Fic Recs *warning - adult content*

These aren't complete, are they? I feel curious about 'Touch the light, the heat', but I think I would read it when it's finished. Waiting kills me...

Sherlock Holmes: I've disappointed you.
John Watson: That's good... that's a good deduction, yeah.
Sherlock Holmes: Don't make people into heroes, John. Heroes don't exist, and if they did, I wouldn't be one of them.

Re: Johnlock Fic Recs *warning - adult content*

I am plotting my own fic at the moment. It will start right after John is rescued from the well. I stay away from other post-S4 fan fics at the moment so I won't be influenced by other people's  (surely brilliant) ideas at the moment.

I will get to the recc'ed fics as soon as I am done with the first part of my fic I guess. :-)
