Good idea for a thread. I LOVE the Holmes brothers' interactions - they become 12-years old, the both of them.

Mycroft is surprisingly charming in this episode, isn't he?
My favorite gif is
It is from this gifset: , and I love this smile... We just need to remember, that this is Sherlock, who, of course, is the genius, but still, his social skills are close to null. But this time he was joking, and it was funny, and he made his friends smile, and John liked it... Sherlock looks so happy, and so proud of himself. It is both: charming, and heartbreaking.

It is pretty old trick: to make some character nicer, when something terrible is going to happend to him
Whatever is looming, I hope Mycroft to survive it.

The bullet headed right for Sherlock, it breaks my heart that he didn't even try to jump out of the way.

I might use the phrase "you fail to connect actions to their consequences" with my young nieces

Heartbreakingly cute to heartbreakingly sad moments in TST!
I posted these in the Ben thread already but had to post again because he looks so adorable.
