Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

The worst provocation ever:

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Ugh!
Most disturbing quote thus far:

What happened to a show "about the detective"?

I have faith in Moftiss and their plans for the show.

Why do you watch this show exactly, if you could gladly do without the main character?
Wasn´t this show supposed to be about Sherlock Holmes, written by the fans of Arthur Conan Doyle´s work?

@nakahara

I fear we won't agree on Mycroft but I definitely agree with you that I totally could do without this evolving into a John and Mary baby show. For so many obvious reasons.

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

If I can attempt to reassure you all: this will not happen.
Just look at The Canon.

So far Canon hasn't stopped them from doing pretty much anything they wanted.

Don´t worry, maybe we would.
I don´t have any definite opinion on Mycroft, I just find some of his tendencies very puzzling. But I don´t think he is a baddie of this show...

Re: Series 4 Setlock (potential spoilers)

One note about "baby Watson."  If you'll remember there was much hand wringing about the wedding in TSoT before it aired.  Then it turned out to be the Sherlock loves John show.  Let's all remain calm and trust the creators.
