Articles or reviews about The Abominable Bride

I thought it might be an idea to have a thread for links to articles and reviews about TAB, as I didn't know where to post this one:

http://blog.hearingdogs.org.uk/2016/01/bbc-sherlock-sign-language/
Jill Hipson, a deaf BSL (British Sign Language) tutor, writes about her experience teaching sign language to the cast for the scene with Wilder at the Diogenes Club.

Re: Articles or reviews about The Abominable Bride

Wonderful article and a good idea for a thread.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Oh yes, excellent article! Thank you for sharing! And, as nakahara said, a very good idea for a thread!

A good review here

Including a timeline of movies that contributed to "Benedict Cumberbatch's rise to stardom" at the end of the article.

I really enjoyed this review I think the writer really got it , and she mentions that ACD was buried standing up  ( didnt know that ) and links to a nice page about Doyle. Her summation uses the phrase "off his tits " and some of the dunderheaded comments are unintentionally very funny.

Re: Articles or reviews about The Abominable Bride

A bit late for reviews on this but just stumbled over this one and it has a new take and some really interesting ideas and information on TAB from the Gothic angle.

Late to the party here, but here goes:  What was the red letter message during final credits of TAB?  My DVR didn't record the last few seconds as well as the final credits.  Thanks!

Sorry, I do not remember this one. I read that the red letters in end PBS end credits of The Final Problem spell the word ANEMOI but I have no idea about the special.

Re: Articles or reviews about The Abominable Bride

I don't remember what the message was, but it had to be something done by BBC. My DVD credits have no red letters.
