Re: New Sherlock Fan from Germany says hi

Thanks so much for your welcome!

Ah you're right, SolarSystem, watching Sherlock on German TV (in fact, watching anything non-German on German TV) is quite brave! German dubbing can be a bit not good...http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/nerdy.png

But rest assured, I bought the DVDs the next day and watched it in its full rapid-fire English glory...http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png

Re: New Sherlock Fan from Germany says hi

Yes, Pengwing, same thing 'happened' to me. First I saw it on German television, a few days later I bought the dvds. And it felt like a whole different show. At least now during S3 they finally decided to stop their Siezlock. http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/wink.png

Ahh, THAT'S why! Was already wondering. Hooked from watching it on German telly??

But, I confess, here it happened exactly the same way.
Welcome to the forum!

Re: New Sherlock Fan from Germany says hi

Imo the original version "just works better". http://cdn.boardhost.com/emoticons/grin.png

The dubbed version was entertaining for me but nothing more. The original one "hooked" me.
