Yes, we should go for some comfort amongst our little community.
I find it most astonishing that people who are not as weird as us and overanalyzing every bit of word, voice, light, camera shot etc. have much less doubt about the obvious love. Or am I just, well, dreaming this?

I'm not a Johnlocker, but to me it is a deep friendship, loving somebody like a brother, going through fire for him (literally!). But nothing sexual. Still or even because of that a very precious relationship.
In German Sherlock is just arrogant. You do not see any Aspergers... Btw about that, the German version of The Big Bang Theory is quite good actually, they got all characters the right way, even Sheldon, the feeling is the same.

According to leo.org there are several possibilities for "Klugscheißer":
know-it-all (boring)
smart alec (boring)
clever dick ( that is better, but not always appropriate, methinks)
Nothing for "klugscheißen", though

I have no doubts about their love, either, but that's certainly due to the fact that I know how the show works in the original version. If I only had the dubbed version to go on... 
But yes, let's relax and look forward to the dubbed episodes! We have all the facts now and can just watch the show, shake our heads and get gloriously drunk with a bottle of Port. I know I will.

I'm sure you haven't been serious about this anyway, but just for the record: In my opinion this is exactly the right thread for this, because seriously: What would happen if Johnlock really happened...? The audience in Germany would never ever get it, because they haven't been prepared for this at all. The dubbing doesn't give the slightest clue to anything Johnlock... and I'm not even sure that something like true, deep friendship comes across in the German version...

Nope it doesn't. It felt completly cold. The whole show.
That's why the 3rd series blew me away when I watched the original.

It's less johnlock than the original, quite true. But I think Tommys voice can be quite velvety and seductive as well, and Sebastian got the "oh,god, yes" not too bad, for example. And we can't ruin their looks at each other, can we? The clinging to Siezen is too ridiculous to waste more breath on this.
I wonder about the korean dubbing, considering their trailers...? Or do they have OmU?

Ok ... you are right, Solar. Your explanation is absolutely convincing. Under this aspect it is the right thread.
I didn't mean to sound rude, but I really do believe that all those things are intertwined. So much depends on the dubbing, it's actually quite scary if you think about it.
And the dubbing actors can be as brilliant as they like, but it all starts on the page... and if there is nonsense on the page... well...

And yes the dubbing can destroy the actors' work. To me it does with Sherlock.
