Speaking of the pilot:
Or in this one ... the laugh ...
Personal favourite:
Warning: If you watch this one too many times (which I certainly did), the original suddenly starts to sound very sped up and weird.
But it's not as if it doesn't work the other way around:

One from Reichenbach because I'm just rewatching it for the fifth or tenth or whatever time (I lost count) and can't believe how much I missed all the other times because I was busy crying.

I meant, that's also part of the writing. The camera doesn't follow every character everywhere all the time, some solutions are given later or even never. So it's not only the other way around.

... when you go out for dinner and immediately suspect the two men on the other table of having a gay relationship. And you cannot stop glancing over at them now and then looking for proof.
It might be a sign of reading too much slash fiction. I think ancientsgate warned me in the rec thread ...

This is one of my favourites. It always makes me laugh even on the worst days.
It's the original scene from ASiP, only a little slowed down and that somehow makes Sherlock and John sound as if they were really, really drunk.

And, yes, I like it if actors keep some individual "faults" that make them unique. BTW, have you ever heard Benedict's lisp? It's quite cute.
I think this is the first picture I saw of him as "not Sherlock" when I googled him after watching series 1. I was quite impressed.
The lisp, yes. I'm a fan of the lisp. It's adorable.

Yes, maybe, but ... there are the legs ... they're long, and they're on the table, and [insert random thoughts that replace rational thinking]

Goodnight pic? Does that mean it will appear in my dreams? That would be nice.
And here's one from me:

I only had a nice cup of tea with Mycroft. And that was an experiment for the case of the grey pillow. How boring. Whipping Irene would certainly have been much more interesting.

I really don't know much about this genre or how it is classified by others. I usually read and write horror stories. That's what I would call "dark". To me, that expression doesn't seem to apply to these fluffy love stories. Ok, I know, there is also porn, but one doesn't have to read what one doesn't like, right?

It doesn't look very dark, this side. There's lots of love and romance and kisses and so on ... I don't see how that could be bad.
From their foundation from the pen of ACD to today, in this modern incarnation, Sherlock and John, John and Sherlock, what would we have if we didn't have both?
Well, they're forever, they belong together. Can it get any more romantic?

Neither did I. A bit of fan fiction, yes, but that was very different and long ago. I didn't expect my Sherlock obsession to go in this direction but I think I'll have to get used to being surprised.

To think I used to avoid the Johnlock stuff like the plague until I discovered this thread a few days ago and decided to give it a chance. Of course I expected the stories to be awful. Ok, I was wrong. They’re lovely. I really like the romantic PG-rated short stories like "Scrutiny" . (Not so much the explicit stuff, I’m not used to that.)
And now I’ve started to write such a story myself. That’s a bit strange. I’m known for being able to change my mind very quickly but this complete turnaround within three days is a miracle even for me.
