I'd also think he is game for that. Seriously though, the moment Tom was nominated i had such high hopes he would nominate Benedict. What a GOOD man  He lived up to my expectations. Now go, Benedict!!!

As i have said elsewhere, Molly hitting Sherlock once might be understandable and to a point excusable because i see it as a helpless act of despair because she thinks he really throws his talent away and he disappoints his friends and she ist just so disappointed in him that he tested positive on drugs. Yet, hitting him three times is way over the top for my personal taste. She does love that man (i am sure she still does to a degree). So i personally think that if you hit someone (in the face, eye-to eye) and that person doesn't defend themselves, no, i don't think you would hit them again and AGAIN. I think you would stop short and would be actually very ashamed! I am just so strongly against physical violence and it shocks me a bit that several users here EXPECTED physical assault to Sherlock. Really? Think that a bit scary, to be honest.

I think they throw around these terms a bit too carelessly. Personally i wasn't that disturbed by it but i do know people who haven been rubbed up the wrong way by that and think it highly disturbing. Having the impression that people who are different and not too sociable (as Sherlock is) must get tagged with a medical illness term. I do understand that sentiment.

When you go to the play store and search the app it should tell you if it is compatible with your device.

I think the app still has some issues being new for android. I personally could not re-read the instructions on how to put that one note together, The one by the kidnapper. Whenever i tried the app froze. Yesterday there was another update with bug fix, maybe they fixed it. I have not yet completed that case because i really don't wanna rush through the game cause i really enjoy it

Absolutely nakahara! fully absorbed by his work and being on a case, it is more than unlikely Sherlock will be distracted by anything.

I'd say "relax, dear"  certainly no reason to feel a loser or even having palpitations. After all it wasn't you who had written that article (which is in fact a bit trashy but on the other hand i do think that the outside world may see the extreme fandom in that light). No worries!

Hmm, i had always thought that it is not used in posh circles, the dictionaries online also give it as colloquial and informal? Sorry about the loo discussion

I also think he is perfectly able to take care of himself. Very much so. What he lacks seems to be a regulated daily routine and i can fully relate to that. As maryagrawatson described it, for me it can also be draining and confusing to be with people who seem to HAVE to eat regularly or sleep a certain hours. So yeah, as was mentioned here, he made tea for Moriarty, he ate out of Mrs. Hudson's fridge, he suggested dinner at the end of Study in Pink, and so on. It really wouldn't add to the story if he would, say, before dashing out to a case remark "Oh have to quickly go to the loo first"

But MartaSt, he doesn't only "figure out" his enemies, does he? He sees things others can't see! He must have wondered about her knowing a skip code?

Super interesting thread. Read it all and enjoyed the discussion. I also have my issues with that episode and a lot of things have already been addressed here. So what are my personal problems? The Molly hitting Sherlock scene is one, her hitting him 3 times! No way! I can understand she might have lost her temper when she found out that he was not clean and out of that initial moment of being very upset hitting him once. But three times? Someone she loves? No such way! You would stop cold after the first slap being shocked by your own action, this is my opinion.
I also think it so out of character that Sherlock is being outwitted by Mary and CAM. While in the first 2 seasons he is always the cleverest of them all he suddenly is the one who misses the forrest for the trees all the time?
Mary "simply" shooting Sherlock and Sherlock "simply" shooting CAM? Just like this? too much for my personal taste. Sherlock drugging his parents and his brother AND the heavily pregnant Mary, and it is no big deal? Really?
Most of the other things have already been mentioned and i am kinda glad i am not alone. As much as i love that TV show, i simply could not bring myself to go easily along with everything i had been presented. For the time being i am not as thrilled and excited for season 4 as i was for season 3.
