Hi all,
Another new member here! After years of being Doctor Who fans and being told how much we'd like Sherlock too, my husband and I finally rented and watched it. Wow... I'm not embarrassed to admit that I'm obsessed, and I haven't been this obsessed about something for a long time (the husband likes the show very much, but he's not as crazy about it as I am).
I'm very much a believer in Johnlock -- in fact, Johnlock is how I found this forum. Before even knowing about the term "Johnlock," I was curious as to whether or not anybody else saw any UST between Sherlock and John or if it was just me. I asked Google, and Google showed me the Johnlock debate thread. I haven't joined a forum for a long time, but this seemed like such a friendly place that I couldn't resist.
Other stuff about me -- My real name is Jen, my age is the answer to life, the universe, and everything (42, for non-Douglas Adams fans), I live in the US (Michigan), I don't have kids unless you count the cats and the bird, and I work in education. In the real world, I'm about as sociable as Sherlock, but I'm much better online!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Hello and welcome to the forum, Jen
What if Sherlock has online friends and talks to them via John's laptop? And he doesn't correct people when they think he watches porn

Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody! You've all proven that this forum really is a nice place (I guess it didn't take Sherlock to figure that out). ;)
I've been working my way through reading the Johnlock threads, and I'm sure I'll be contributing to them soon. I like reading the various thoughts and ideas on the subject -- even the ones I disagree with. (@Lilith, if I were to ship Sherlock with a woman, it would be Molly! I like her character a lot).
@MartaSt: My bird is a cockatiel. He's totally my spoiled rotten baby.

Welcome from another long-time Doctor Who fan who discovered (and completely, utterly lost herself in) Sherlock thanks to it!

Hello and welcome to the forum. A friend of mine has a cockatiel. It lives with some chickens.

Thanks for the additional welcomes everybody! I admit that I've been spending more of my time here reading than posting -- there's just so much to read -- but I'm enjoying it all so far. It's probably the best forum I've come across in years (in terms of both content and members).

Oh yes! We are the champions! This is the best place to be for BBC Sherlock fandom. We are close-knit and friendly. We love anyone who loves the show as much as we do. So many of us here are the eyes and ears of the fandom. If it's out there it will be posted here. For someone like me who doesn't have the time to range about the internet on my own this is the place to be! Welcome!
