"Sherlock Holmes and The Case of the Silk Stocking" is a 2004 TV movie starring Rupert Everett and Ian Hart as Holmes and Watson respectively. I liked this non-canonical take on the legend. There were a number of nods to ACD's original stories and novels.

Introductions Please... » Hello Everyone! » January 17, 2013 6:13 am

Let me introduce myself as B2B. I enjoy reading books. My all-time favorites are the Sherlock Holmes stories and novels by Arthur Conan Doyle.

I like watching different takes on the Canon. Some of my favorite adaptations include the BBC series and the Russian adaptation. Both Benedict Cumberbatch  and Vasily Livanov are great at portraying the different facets of Sherlock Holmes.

I also like Nature and particularly, Mountain Gorillas and Grizzly Bears.

I enjoy well-made movies. Some of my favorite directors are Jim Jarmusch, Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan.

Hans Zimmer is my favorite music director.

I hope to meet and have a good time with fellow fans of Sherlock Holmes and of course the BBC series!
