Yes, I understood it like that as well. In reality, there are few loner geniuses who work out breakthroughs in science. It's a team effort, even though it's often portrayed as one single person - to support the myth.

Hi guys! Haven't been here in a while. *waves*

I came across a video that I liked so much that I wanted to share it here. It's an analysis of BBC Sherlock and how it steps away from the "loner genius myth". Some really interesting and good observations here (although probably not much new for us Sherlockians).

Is he far-sighted? And is that a word?

Oh, is Sophie expecting again? I'm behind on my Benformation! How lovely! (And, yeah, I don't like that hairstyle either).

I have to admit, I am not particularly interested in this movie. Spy movies aren't my thing (Tailer, Tinker, Soldier, Spy bored me to tears).

I am personally quite satisfied by TFP as an ending, but would of course want more.

As for S4 being the last, no one has ever said it would be. So to me it seems that it's still the same status quo as it's always been.

I don't think Moriarty would have to film everything in one go. Seeing as they only met for five minutes, he wouldn't have had time to film anything at Sherrinford anyway.

Also, the "Miss me?" wouldn't have to have been filmed with Sherlock leaving England in mind. It could be that it was just meant for a way to start the Eurus game. But when they saw Sherlock was leaving, probably for good, they had to broadcast it immediately.

As for how she knew, well, high intelligence and the skill of dedution has been used more or less like magic throughout the entire show. (Reminds of the trope "A wizard did it" - you can handwave anything away if you have magic or geniuses on the show XD ).

No, I have to admit I'm a bit sceptical to the sequel. The formula worked (for me) the first time, partly because it was new and refreshing, partly because it was ABBA and partly because it was a lot of well-known movie starts singing karaoke and just having a blast.

As I understand it, the well-known starts have a smaller role this time around and it's not new anymore. So 1 out of 3... I will watch it, but I am sceptical and not at all hyped about it.

Wow, guys, I just came across this really great interview. He's promoting Ghost Stories, but he talks about a lot of different things as well. Mostly he talks about the craft of acting, and I found it really interesting. I love his thoughts on this. One of the better interviews I've seen of him - and it lasts 40 minutes!

Got number 3...

Got number 1... (I think)

I'm clueless as to number 2 and am unable to even understand what half the symbols mean in number 4.

Edit... yes, I got number 4!
