What's wrong with the guys? I think they're just adorably old-fashioned.

Those two in bed together?

When I read fanfics written by Katie Forsythe, I always imagine BBC's John and Sherlock with old-fashioned clothes. I can't even imagine to imagine the other two together.

Old is exactly the right word to describe Watson.

LOL. Like grandparents!  It's totally cool if they have sex but you really don't want to imagine it!

Ok, sex scenes with those two are definitely something I can live without. But in general I think they're cute.

Honestly, this does not work for me:

Ahem, yes. But compare your signature pics with that one. Just saying.

Or imagine BBC Sherlock and John in that Turkish bath.

Turkish bath? I'd say we can be happy if they'd show us the bathtub in 221B, but Turkish bath...? Never. They'd never do us such a favour.

I think that's why it is called "fiction".

Ask and you shall receive. I give you chapter 11 of Loosed Reins (http://archiveofourown.org/works/799184?view_full_work=true)

“…And in some perfumes is there more delight, than in the breath that from my mistress reeks,” he murmured softly, tucking John’s head under his chin and toying idly with his hair.

John was apparently not entirely asleep. “Are you complaining about my breath?” he muttered, not opening his eyes. “Did you just wake me up at three in the morning to quote the sonnet where Shakespeare just talks about how gross his girlfriend is?”

My Johnlock thoughts and feels are for the BBC pairing only. There's something about their chemistry and that attractive opposition that catches me up like no other 'buddy movie' I've ever seen and makes me start to imagine things about them I never thought I would. (Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law came close - but not like these two).  It doesn't hurt that the scripts intentionally tease the notion either. Take 'platonic' with a healthy dash of 'bromance', a few well timed teasing jokes, a couple of "Are you all right!"s, a few genuine warm smiles, one world class dominatrix stating, "Somebody loves you" and "Yes you are.", one quiet little lab assistant noticing, "You look sad", and one gut-wrenching collapse into grief at a certain finale and I am now a complete Johnlock goner. Forever and ever, amen.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

Oh, and I forgot to mention - long live Johnlock fan fiction, too!  Taking our imaginations where the show will never go.
