That's what the Sherlock Fandom Glossary (thanks for that link, Harriet! ) has to say to Jawn:

Jawn: n. Common fandom name for John Watson, based presumably on Cumberbatch’s distinctive pronunciation of the name.

I don't mind those little fandom things, to be honest. People are just having fun and they're not hurting anyone so where's the harm? Jawn, hedgehogs, otters, red pants...I find it funny
