I only noticed today that John seems to have a long-term problem with cards...

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Well observed, Tobe. Seems to haunt him through the episodes.

Then there is of course Sherlock's twiddling with things - but I suppose it doesn't count because it's Benedict's quirk, not Sherlock's.

As mentioned many times in fac fic, John does have a habit of standing at "parade rest".  Would this be considered a quirk?

I like that he still has that military part of him throughout. Really shows how good the writing is and the acting is to include something as simple as how someone stands.

And Sherlock seems to equivalently have a 'problem' with body parts.... yes?  ;D

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

Moriarty's fondness for chewing gum -
a useful item that can be used for committing a crime. It's is also a suitable means to show contempt for the Court. (Wonder why they allowed him to chew in the courtroom!)

Sorry, can't find pics at the moment but there are the purple shirts - as worn by Sherlock, John (Hounds) and Mrs Hudson. Anyone else?

Parade-resting John sounds stiff enough to be twiddled by Sherlock...Ben.

John is accustomed to sleeping whereever or whenever there's an opportunity of doing so.
(Why would he need another bedroom upstairs? )
