The trailer looks AMAZING.
And Benedict is brilliant as always - only when he looked directly into the camera, with those extraordinary eyes, I thought, oh, yes, that's Benedict! I keep forgetting that he is only acting.
I am really looking forward to that film now.
Although I'd like to know how accurate the film is. I think I read somewhere that Julian Assange does not approve of it?

The trailer is great. I wasn't expecting this to be so impressing.
I love the fact that this film is to be released in Germany a few days after my birthday *gg*

Are you girls being serious?  I spent the entire last hour watching it again and again.

I don't know if I want to see this...I reeeeeally hate the whole wiki-leaks thing.  It drives me nuts.  Even with BC.

Wow....  interesting....  despite the fact that I never kept up on the whole thing back when it happened, and unsure of the 'hollywood' version, and interesting timing with the Snowden thing, but...  eh..  actors definitely seem to be pulling off well.   I love the new promo still, too...  still intriguing seeing him with that hair!

We solve crimes, I blog about it, and he forgets his pants.  I wouldn't hold out too much hope!

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

The Fifth Estate will open the Toronto Film Festival on September 5th!  Article in The New York Times announced that today, along with news that August: Osage County will have its world premiere there and 12 Years a Slave will have a special presentation as well.  What are the odds of Ben appearing in Toronto, given that he's in three of the films being shown there?

Edit: Oh and btw, the first two comments attached to the article are about Sherlock!

:o))
The trailer has left me quite speechless the first time I saw it. Even in this glimpses you could clearly see (t)his powerful performance.
For sure I'm going to see the film within the first week of the opening. :o)

In the past I have been already interested in the whole wikileaks thing and saw many documentaries and reportages about it. Now I'm very curious about the artistic interpretation.
<laalalaacantwaitlaalalaacantwaitlaalalaa> :o))

In my life I have found two things of priceless worth - learning and loving. Nothing else - not fame, not power, not achievement for its own sake - can possible have the same lasting value. For when your life is over, if you can say 'I have learned' and 'I have loved', you will also be able to say 'I have been happy'.
~ Arthur C. Clarke ~
