Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

John: "Have you spoken to Mycroft, Molly, uh, anyone?"
Mrs Hudson: "They don’t matter. You do."

Poor John. First he's confronted with Buckingham Palace, then with "Sheet Sherlock", and then with the idea of a "dominatrix". He must be in shock.

He’s got a dog. We go to the pub on weekends. I’ve met his mum and dad …

… and his friends and all his family and I’ve no idea why I’m telling you this.

Shocked but never bored.

For John definitely the fact that it happens in Buckingham Palace of all places.

Was this what you were looking for?

These two in and out of character are just... it's actor chemistry you can't measure. I love this scene so much. It shows complete trust (in John by Sherlock, even if he does try to keep up the pretense a little with the line 'I'm fine, I'm absolutely fine'.) Also, am I right in remembering that John gave up a date to stay home and make sure Sherlock was alright, or am I imagining things?

I aim to please, Susi!!   ;)     Mary - just 'awww!'ed out loud… hadn't seen that one yet!  ;D  And aww at Silver, too…. beat me to posting that one…. love it!  And Mnemosyne - yes…. yes, he did.  Love little moments like that too:

Hmm…  oh, as an addendum to a part of my last post.  The 'beat me to it' pic I mentioned of Silver's wasn't showing up for me either, except when I right-clicked on the little blue no-picture-question-mark and opened it up.  I believe you meant to show us this one?       Sigh.... loving all those expressions....  ;D

(some of your other pics showed up just fine though, if you notice what you typed different!)
