When Sherlock meets Kitty Reilly He tells her

There are two types of fans.
Catch me before I kill again. Type A.
Kitty Reilly: Whats type B?
Sherlock: Your bedrooms just a taxi ride away.

And I thought to myself: What type of fan am I? Or what kind of fan is in this forum?

So: What are you? Type A or type B?

Neither. I'm not a type A serial killer. And I don't take taxis as long as there's public transport available for me.

My first thought was: Type A - Moriarty is meant. Or maybe any other clever villain who loves to play and be chased ("they need an audience")

So what's left for me is B. Although I very seldom take a taxi.

It is funny, you all just take the taxi as an argument against Type B ;)

I do have an other argument against it... well you know... XD

I don't go to hotels...

What did you think? ;P

Oh doctor, that's clever, that's awfully clever!

And ...what about Type BC then? (ok, OT  )

I'm afraid I could easily be type B. I don't mind taxi rides in London and anyway I'm sure it's better than taking the tube with the harpoon in tow.

Isn't he referring to Irene here?

Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

I think, there are enough Type B fans, except of Irene...

He says he has two types of fans. Serial killers are one e.g. The cabbie in Study in Pink and Moriarty.  The other is 'your bedroom is just a taxi drive away'. We have seen no evidence whatsoever in the series, not even after the newspaper publicity, of anyone in his bedroom EXCEPT Irene. He knows SHE was definitely 'a fan'.

I think so... and maybe he's referring to the new fan girls too. I mean, at the beginning of the episode he became famous through the media, so he should have expected that there would be some fangirl stuff coming up to him.
